Cute Patio Area....

This is a sweet little patio area in town. It's near the library. I will try to get a better photo this weekend. There's old frames attached to the wall near the back door. There's a burlap swag draped over the door. On the gate is a license plate from California , it's paint turquoise. I have always  liked this old house, I like it even more now.:):) There's also some turquoise accents at the front of the house. I used to know the owners many years ago. No clue if the new owner is their daughter or not. Enjoy this day, looks like it may rain here. I am so ready for a peaceful week. Last week was stressful in many ways. So I   prayed a lot.:):)

  1. I love houses that decorate the OUTside walls!! I know I decorate mine! Looking forward to more pics of this one. I drove past a little house in Fort Worth that was the SWEETEST thing!!! All decked out in all manner of interesting things. Neat and tidy but OH so interesting! Lots of bird houses. I think this lady must have owned an antique shop - or bought one out. This fall I intend to drive over there and ask if I can take pictures! When I drove by once I noticed a string of fairy lights inside the back window. I bet the lady who lives there is a kindred spirit!!

  3. That sounds like such a fun place to visit. Always like the license plates. And for some reason, I've become very fond of turquoise, even though in the 60s someone I knew put in turquoise fixtures in their bathroom. Not sure I want that much turquoise, and I prefer a more pale hue. Thank you for stopping in and leaving a comment. Glad you enjoyed Wisconsin's wildflowers. :-)

  5. Oh Susie, wouldn't it be nice, if you could knock on that door or that sweet little place, and meet the present owners? :-)

My but I am full of ideas, for bloggers to step outside of their comfort zones, am I not?!? What about myself?

Have I ever knocked on the door of that house with the lovely porch decorations, and told them that it is so pretty? NO! Bahh-humbug "Auntie"! With telling others to knock on doors.

    -grin-

  12. What a charming little house, and I love the turquoise accents. I went downtown today to make some copies, and I always like to look at the houses in that area because they are so charming.

It has been very hot here lately. I hope your week is a better one than last, Susie.

    Love,
