Before The Rain...

My neighbor's crimson maple and  flowering crabapple trees. I thought they looked so pretty with the setting sun shining on them. The rain yesterday took a lot of the leaves off the trees. Especially in our back yard.
Pretty sunset.  We have a small fire going in the fireplace this morning. It was 59 degree yesterday but I felt chilly all day long.  I am not sure how the weather will be today. I can say the sun is not shining at this time.
I have so many chores to do today. I like to get things out of the way for a pleasant weekend. I may get to go to lunch with my little sister Barbie tomorrow.  Or if I get the information correctly from my daughter, I may be going to a concert with Emma singing at it.  Hope you have some fun plans for a great weekend. xo

  1. I am so partial to crabapple trees! They are so pretty with their hanging fruit right now. Your fire in the fireplace for breakfast sounds wonderful. To me, a morning fire is true luxury! I love the convenience of my gas logs now but miss the wood fire.

Thank you for wishing me a happy blog anniversary, Susie!

  5. Have a fun weekend! I am not sure what we are going to do, but what we need to get done is the yard work. So much to do and who wants to do it when its chilly out?

I want to get a photo of the sunset tonight because it has been a spectacular day on the beach.

  8. Susie, the trees are beautiful! Our neighbors is still gorgeous and we can see it from our family room window. I finished putting away all of the Halloween décor today and cleaned, cleaned, cleaned. Pulled out the rest of the Thanksgiving decorations and I am pooped. lol! Picking up our daughter at 10:30 p.m. Can't wait! Have fun what ever you end up doing.
    hugs,
