Still Plugging Along....

My gosh, I can't believe how much I have to learn....not just in life but on this computer.LOL I need to start using my new camera and make files. Just learning more about windows eight is hair pulling. I have been trying to visit a few blogs everyday. I have really missed a lot in the month and a half, that I have been off line.
The temps around our area are just a bit better, although it feels just as cold with the wind. We are to have some rain/snow mix tomorrow.....I pray it's not a lot of rain, with the ground froze through to china.
Take care everyone, I'll be thinking of you and praying for you all to be safe.. xo

  5. Happy Thursday, Susie! Windows 8 is what is on this computer. I have learned how to work around it.:-) There were some annoying times, however, and my investment in a wireless mouse proved to be very calming.:-) Wishing for better weather for you. xo Nellie

  6. Isn't it just amazing how comfortable we get with something and then change gets us all out of whack? I hate changing computers or programs...takes me forever to feel comfortable with it again. Hang in there! I have sure missed you.
I think we have about the same forecast. The wind is sure blowing hard today and everything out there is bobbing up and down and all around. Staying in!

  13. I got a new computer for Christmas and even though it looks wonderful I haven't tackled it because of Windows 8. You are not alone. My sister hates it.

Take care, Susie. I'm glad you are back on line.

  14. I cheated! I just bought a new computer at Office Depot but it has Windows 7 on it. I jumped on that baby!!! I think I am completely too old to relearn all over again and had heard so many complain about Windows 8.

    Good luck in your venture!

  15. Susie,
I haven't heard from you in awhile - I miss you! There is so much to learn on a new computer. I just got one recently, and I'm still learning. I finally figured out how to organize my pictures. It's a learning process, isn't it?

    Have a nice weekend.

    Love,

  16. Hope you don't get ice!
Yes, a new computer is hard to adjust too, but I bet you'll have it licked in no time!

  17. Hi Susie, good luck with your Windows 8. I just bought my husband a new tablet with Windows 8 and it is very difficult to learn. Apparently classes are required to figure it out. Good luck with it.

  19. Heavens..you are not alone, not by a long shot. Everything you said applies to me as well. I miss a lot of wonderful blogging friends posts and it makes me feel bad.
It's warm and windy and way too balmy here today. We are staying home just to stay out of those strong winds. They get dangerous. Have a wonderful, wonderful weekend. Just know that you are not the only one struggling to learn these miserable computers!! AND camera's.
    Love,
    Mona

  20. Awe, I wish you the best in this cold and bad weather. I think of you quite often knowing you're farther north an dthe weather is so much worse. We got a bit of a break today with warmer temps. I've been thinking of getting a Windows 8 but now I'm rethinking it . Everyone tells me they're hard to get the hang of. I'm already lacking in computer sense I sure don't need to be confused anymore than I am. LOL Hugs.

  22. We have been missing you!!
Learning new things is hard but that's what keeps our minds sharp. Or sharper. Or in my case - not as soft!! I am just now learning how to get pictures from my phone to my computer and then I learned how to delete them from my phone!! In the past I was posting them to Facebook then downloading the pic to the comp. OR emailing them to myself and then downloading. LONG way around. Learning is a GOOD thing!!! Hopefully you have access to a Geek Squad because they are the most helpful people on earth!!
