Green Lawn....

I have to say, the lawn is much greener after all the rain we had the past few weeks. I can still find some spots that need a bit more seeding. The past two days have been sunny and nice. That also helps with the grass growing.  I don't think the jasmine is going to be very full this year. Some things were hurt during the winter and the struggle spring had in arriving.
Ted went golfing this morning. The fellows like to tee off early when the weather allows. Then they are finished early enough that the day still has plenty of time to do other things. Soooo, when Ted Bear gets home, we are going to the store to stock up on some things.
Hope all of you have a great day. Wishing you some sunshine too. xo

    1. Beth, Now if I just had more flowers to see. The year that our lawn man finally got our yard in shape, he passed away. So sad. I sure miss him. We have chem-lawn now. xoxo,Susie

  4. Your lawn looks nice. Ours looks like a forest. Our yard service ( amust have for us) pulled into our lane during the tornado warnings last week. They turned around a left and haven't been back. With all this rain we really have a forest of grass and weeds. Oh well......not complaining really. hugs

    1. Debby, Some times it's hard to pin those lawn people down. Seems they always come when we aren't home. Probably cuts down on complaints LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  6. My Little Lulu would absolutely LOVE your house. Beach lots are small and very few houses on our lane have grass. If Lulu saw your grass she would begin running around like the Tasmanian Devil.

    1. Kathy, Ted and I like to sit out and enjoy our yard. Our neighbors never sit out...I can't believe people can stay in their home all the time. I want to get out as much as possible, since winter was so long. xoxo,Susie

  10. Susie, your yard is beautiful. Mr H still works, but he makes time for golf. He and my son love to play. Shoot. I can't even putt-putt. He says he will not teach me on the golf course. I can learn like he did, in the back yard:)

  12. You have a lot more lawn than I do. I always wanted a riding mower but that would be silly around here.

    1. My daughter's husband had to down size his riding mower when they moved...but honestly he could easily use a push mower.:) xoxo,Susie

    1. Diana, I thought we were dragging abit here, but that rain and afew days of sunshine have really helped. But something were harmed through the winter. Our weeping cherry didn't bloom it's just leafing out ,a bit sparse at that. Hope it will make it this year and be fine the next. xoxo,Susie

  14. If you'd look for "perfect lawn" in the dictionary, the definition would be your picture. :) Lawns are pretty much low maintenance, but a lawn as good as this must have some secrets! But I guess the extra moisture from the past rains definitely helped. Hope your jasmines are doing fine. Thanks for sharing!

  15. Susie,
How in the world do you get your lawn this green and groomed - it's beautiful. I want a lawn like this! On the post above, I'm so glad you got to spend time with your sister, and guess what? I used to watch Young and the Restless too. It's been so many years though, and I have no idea what's going on. haha

    love,
