Center Piece.....

The photo on the bottom was last year's center piece. The top one is this years. I used mostly the same things .  I did use that white pitcher I got this Spring.  I try to always use this tablecloth. I call it my picnic tablecloth. It says Summer to me.
I had a great day with my sister yesterday. We had a couple nice little walks, some fun conversation. Plus we have made plans to go to the goodwill one day next week. You know to have something fun to look forward to doing.
Tomorrow is our family reunion , 4th of July celebration. Most of my siblings are coming, my daughter's and their children. Some nieces and nephews. It will be a busy fun time. My brothers will tell all their crazy golf stories. That alone will keep us laughing.
Wishing all of you a great 4th...not sure I will post tomorrow, will be busy. Blessings to all.  XO

  4. I love the centerpieces. I haven't been able to find flags around here. I guess we are truly patriotic because everything is sold out!

    1. We never got a new flag for our flagpole out front...so I have a small one at the mailbox . Some on the porch, one on the door wreath. Blessings to you and yours for a great 4th. xoxo,Susie

  15. Susie,
You're so lucky that you will have a family reunion today. We used to have block parties growing up with all the family, but it seems that much of the family has moved to different areas.

I wanted to tell you that I used to play outdoors a lot too when I was young, in the fields building forts and such. I think I only had one troll doll and one barbie doll, and I would love to play with neighbors because they had so many and it was fun to accessorize. But I never had much just like you growing up.

Have a fun day today, and enjoy your family. You are blessed, Susie. I really miss all my family being together.

    love,
    ~Sheri

  16. All 4th festivities were held on the 3rd. The Boston Pops Concert was shortened so they could squeeze in the fireworks. About 15 minutes after the truncated end the sky's opened up. Today the cookout will be held indoors. We will be hit by part of Hurricane Arthur sometimes in the afternoon. We did get to see The Beach Boys though.
