Pretty Days.....

We have enjoyed the best weather the past few days. I am loving the low humidity. When it's too hot I feel drained. Even as a kid I did not like super hot days.
I have sat on the porch and just relaxed for a while. I like to write letters while I am out. Or sun my feet and legs.  I try to get my vitamin "D" thru my feet. LOL.  We had a sprinkle this morning and starting tomorrow we may get a bit of rain for three days. Nothing like so many have in areas that are flooding. You have my prayers.
Wishing all of you a great Sunday and new week.   XO

  1. And a blessed Sunday to you and yours!!! It is hot in Texas but not deathly so!! Which is a miracle! It's crazy how there is a huge drought going on here and flooding elsewhere!
I love the view from your porch!!

  2. Linda, I truly wish there was a way that the rains could go where the draughts are and the forest fires. It's a mixed up world at times. I saw a picture of flooding in France in the paper yesterday. So it's all over. Stay cool and don't let Mr."I just can't sit still "LD,work too long in the heat. LOL.

    1. Yes, I love cards and stationary very much. I usually write to my sister in town the most. We call each other our therapist. Cause we will let off our steam and then talk about gardens and maybe up coming events. xoxo,Susie

  10. Hi Susie,
I have been right there with you with our similar weather. It was so nice to shut the air off and open up the windows this week end. I loved the cool breezes at night to sleep. We are getting some storms tonight too but the whole holiday week end has been beautiful.

    1. Kris, It's Sunday evening 8:00 and Ted just turn the AC back on. Bummer. I love when we do not need the heat or the AC. Having the windows open helps air out the house too. I like that a lot. Hope we get some more weather like that again . Blessings for a great week. xoxo,Susie

  11. Hi. So you've been to Boston. The Constitution did it's annual turn around cruise on July 3 because of the impending bad weather, then it will be heading to dry dock for 4 years for repairs and maintenance.

    1. Boston Boy,
I have been there twice. I love it. Went to Quincy Market , had lunch at that Cheers. My favorite part was sitting in the Old North Church ,listening to a young boy recite the "midnight ride of Paul Revere. And being on the Constitution was beyond my dreams. We were not allow below because they were doing some repairs then.I'd love to go back to visit again. xoxo,Susie

    1. Tete, I am hoping it isn't either...the weather layout in the paper changes all the time...I really do not know why they predict the weather for five days and it will change daily.LOL xoxo,Susie

  13. Our days here have been pleasant too. I hate the humidity and I'm not a summer person unless I am near the water. I haven't and won't have my beach trip this year so I'm in withdrawal. Staying inside alot! Aren't you glad for the respite from the heat?
