Sister Lunch....

Today my sister Pam is coming out for lunch . We will watch the Young and Restless and absolutely rewrite the show. LOL We worked together for 30 years at General Motors.   We have always be very close..
When Pam comes out, I try to fix her a meal. She is the type that will make a rut and live in it. By that I mean, she eats those "lunchables", fruit and yogurt. She is not getting  the right nutrients by any means.  She does not have to live this way, she chooses to. She never cooks for herself, that I know .
I will make us something easy and quick, but it won't say Oscar Myer on it. :):) Hope all of you have a fun day. It is warming up big time around here.  Stay cool. XO

    1. Hi Japolina, My sister and I always talk up a storm before we eat. Plus we talk through the show. The president interrupted our show for about 15 minutes. Oh all times !! Pam never stays past 2:00...she has that routine thing, you know. Yes , she is OCD. I love her to pieces, but she needs help.LOL. Hope you are doing well. xoxo,Susie

    1. Laura, I have eaten hot dogs. Two a year, usually no more than that. I do not always eat healthy, but I eat better than lunch meat. Hotdogs, lunch meat, lunchables...are okay once in a while...not for every day.xoxo,Susie

  5. What a sweet relationship you have with your sister. Does she read your blog? ;-) personally I don't know how people can eat like that, but she has lots of company in doing so. Hope she can learn what real food tastes like and how much better she will feel.

    1. LOL, no my sister doesn't do computers. Three sisters do not do anything with computers. One sister has one, she does facebook. I have 4 sisters. Fast food and store bought quicky food is okay once in a while...but not everyday. I think Pam just doesn't want to cook much. Sad. xoxo,Susie

  6. Lunchables are the biggest pain to stock on the shelves especially the small packages. One wrong move and they all come down. There's nothing wrong with yogurt but It's better for you to cook fresh Shop the perimeter of a supermarket not the middle except for paper goods, That's what a doctor told me. Most prepared food in a can are loaded with sodium. That's one of the biggest health problems in this country.

    1. You are right about shopping the perimeter...the healthier foods. You know the quick foods are okay in small doses. LOL. My sister is small. But even small people have health issues. I do worry for her. xoxo,Susie

  17. That's so nice that you try to cook for your sister when she comes to visit, Susie. I used to watch The Young and the Restless all the time. It's been many years though. This is a pretty picture of the flowers. I can't get enough flowers, I love them! haha
