Autumn.....

I put a bit of fall décor on this side table. It's in the dining room, I have 3 star cut-out lids in the window sill. I thought I should have candy corn in the jar..but that would be too tempting. So I just threw in a floral sprig.
This is a picture from our park. I love maple trees. You get so many colors on one tree.
Ted and I will get our flu shots tomorrow morning , early. They were very busy at the CVS drugstore when we went. After we get our shots. Ted will have a blood work  to prepare  for his yearly check up coming soon.
I will deal with a bill from the dye scan I got two months ago. The hospital charged my insurance for the dye scan , plus the part that I owed was sent to me. I called and informed them that the dye went into my arm...not my vein...so they adjusted the bill..I save 330 dollars, my part. Yes, they had billed it as a dye scan..but that is not what I got, no way , no how. Pays to do your own follow up.
Hope your day is fun. XO

    1. Laurie, If some one would just go ahead and pay...I doubt the hospital would ever find any mistakes they might make. I just was not going to pay for the dye scan when I did not receive it. But my insurance paid it and then the hospital had to change it. That's fraud on my insurance..that's why they checked it out. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  10. What a gorgeous tree. We have very little that matches the colors of that maple but autumn is sweet here just the same.

  12. We went on Medicare this year and the doctor's office billed Medicare twice for the same procedure. Then we got a bill to pay for the second billing. Fortunately, Steve is on top of these things.

Love the trees in the park.

    1. Carol, This electronic age should be faster and more accurate...but it is not. I know there are people who would just pay a bill and never question it. Sad. I see you know what I was saying about the candy corn. :):) xoxo,Susie

  13. And, we bought a bag of candy corn which was a big mistake. Three of us finished it off too quickly and we all agreed no more candy corn this season.

  15. Your Autumn display is so cozy and inviting Susie, and I'm smitten by your silver teapot...perfect.
It always helps to check your billings especially from hospital and insurance EOB's. Once after undegoing back surgery, I discovered I was billed more for my pre-tests than my entire surgery and hospital stay...another friendly slip-up, and by the stroke of a computer key, it was all coded wrongly.
Yes, flu-shot time again, ouch :)

  17. I chuckled when you mentioned the candy corn, Susie, because I just bought the candy pumpkins this week for when Jess comes to visit this weekend. She loves them.......and so do I hehe. I'm glad you got all that insurance stuff figured out. That can be a pain.
