Colors Make It Autumn.....

I am crazy for  this bright orange truck.  A lot of love and money goes into restoring or customizing trucks and cars.
This is an old delivery truck . It's been parked a few times at our local Marsh grocery store. Love those white wall tires.
Orange pile of pumpkins. Oh yes this is fall .
The orange fire ball of sun rising over the woods and fields. Corn almost ready for harvesting.
My own little pumpkin décor. I love the smaller ones, easier to break up for the squirrels after the fall decorating in over.
This is one of my favorite trees in town.  Doesn't it look like a big gumdrop?  I love all the beautiful fall colors, but red and orange is probably my all time favorite choice.
Today is chilly but not  cold, hoping it doesn't rain again. I need some sunshine.  Wishing all of you a wonderful day. XO

  2. Fall is my favorite time of the year. It was always the time of the year when we loved to travel just to see the fall color. It is 48 degrees and rainy today. We might make it to 58, but have to wait and see. Have a great day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

  5. Orange is the color of October. Those sneaky squirrels won't let me have my real pumpkins out. They also like Red (my tomatoes) Caught one yesterday climbing up my grandson's motorcycle. Hope you get to go to Horton's soon.

  10. Looks like you have a bit more color than we do at this moment. The roads are crowded (what else is new) especially heading north to New Hampshire and Vermont. I'm biding my time waiting for the trees to really turn around here. Hopefully I'll be able to go to the Mt. Auburn Cemetery. This place is spectacular no matter what the season.
    Love the vehicles!

    1. One year , Paul, we went to Maine, Vermont for a fall tour... the best foliage was Penn.. There were no ugly sights in that state, everything was red, gold, yellow, rust, all the wonderful colors. It was around this time in October too. I do love that Cemetery you take pictures in. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  11. Oh my gosh, look at all these wonderful colors of Autumn! I have to get out there and take more pictures of this glorious season. I love that truck, it's so cool. And the reds in the tree and bushes are beautiful. Yes, it does look like a gumdrop! I am wondering if they groom that tree, or does it just grow like that?

    love,
