Spring's Return.....

I am going to go to town and look to see if this yard has it's huge garden of phlox. This is last year's picture. This is the most phlox I have seen , other than on a hillside once.
This is the entrance to our city park.  The Goose Bean Garden Club ladies tend to the flowerbeds there. I think they do a fine job. Their club will also be having a plant sale in front of our library soon.  I am hoping to buy some fern plants this year.
This month of April is about over . It seems the farmers are late getting into their fields...that's because of all the rain we have had.
Hope you are getting warmer weather. We are to be increasing in temperatures a degree or two each day.  Wishing you a fine day. XO

  1. The Phlox is gorgeous, I do love it's bright colors in the Spring. Your town is very fortunate to have the master gardeners tending to it's park entrance....how lovely.
Yes, lets hope the rain has gone for now at least !

    1. Jo, I had some phlox once and it gets grass in it too easily for me...so I just admire everyone else's. The garden club ladies do the flowerbeds on a volunteer basis...which is so kind of them. We have sunny skies too. So happy. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  11. I can't get over your park grounds every time I see them, Susie. They are so lovely and kept up. When I first saw that box of purple flowers, I smiled because purple is my favorite color. It looks so charming. The flowers in my front yard were already planted when we moved into our new home, but I want to replace them with something of my own liking.....maybe this summer.

It will be in the 80's here this week, Susie. I'm so glad it is warming up for you too.

    1. Hi Sheri, So glad you are having good weather. My mom loved any shade of purple too. Daddy used to say she had 20 pairs of purple pants and the rest were white. LOL. I love thinking of their jolly times. When we moved in here, there were many things I changed later. You should get the things you really love yourself. Blessings dear friend, love you, Susie
