Rain and Growth....

Big rains moved through yesterday afternoon.  The predictions are for possible rain all thru the coming week.  Right now it's Saturday morning and the sun is shining. :):) You can feel the humidity rising.
Oh look who's hungry.  The little robins are stretching their necks.  All mouths and tummies now.
The lilies are blooming too. I should have plenty from all the buds I have seen.
Here's the shorter yellow ones.  On the west side of the house, it's lilies, lavender and one coral bell. When the blooms on the lilies fade and die, their greenery is still nice for some time.
I went to lunch and did a bit of shopping with my daughter Angie yesterday. We always have good conversations and laughs. We laugh at ourselves mostly.  How many dresses can we try on? Do these pants make my butt look big...bigger??
Hope all of you can find joy in your lives today.  XO

    1. It seems to have taken the robins about 3-4 days to get their heads up in the air. Once that happens they ready for food all the time. Bless you,Laurie, hope your weekend is good. xoxo,Susie

  12. I would love to capture a shot of a baby bird. Are you climbing trees to get those shots?

    1. Paul, I am too old to climb trees. LOL. That's because now that I am older, I realize limbs can break under big weight . That robin in in our front window. The other group was in the west windows. This is the last batch that better build in the windows...we just can't deal with worrying about running the parents away every step we take. I do not mind a spring/summer shower...but the heavy rains are too much. Hope your week is great and have some fun. xoxo,Susie

  16. Oh, the rain sounds nice right about now, Susie. It's been pretty warm here lately. I guess it's all part of the summer season, but I don't take the heat like I used to.

That little robin bird is so sweet. What a sight it must be for you.
