Kids' Fun Times....

I had to laugh when I saw that Luke likes to mow...look at his mowing outfit.  Long sleeved onesie and boots. :)
Here Luke chases Max down the sidewalk.  Too funny.
These boys get plenty of outdoor playing. Here at an outdoor play ground.
This is inside. Luke is ready to go down the slide.
You would think the boys would wear themselves out playing....no it's is usually the adults who don't have enough energy to keep up.
This is in their own backyard.  Max is waiting to catch Luke. :)
At the end of all that playing is baths , cuddle time ,and storybooks. Even time to snuggle and pet Madison.
In the mean time...princess Layla is getting her nails done. Can you even believe it? Her other grandma gave her mommy some money to spend on fun...so they had their nails done.  I saw the end results, tiny little flowers on each little toe and finger.
The youngest of the great grands  celebrated his 1st birthday with his dad Rick, mom Margo, aunt Sierra, grandmother  Angie (holding Leo ), grandfather Mark and uncle Jake. Times flies where children are involved.  Hold your babies, squeeze them, tell them you love them. The time goes so quickly. Wishing all of you love.

    1. Linda, I laugh even now when I think of the clothes kids want to wear. Some time around the house it's ok to let them pick their wardrobe. But oh boy, not when going places. :):) Layla will wear princess dresses over her pants. Emma our youngest granddaughter used to want to wear one of my big t-shirts to go eat at DQ. Now she would curl her nose up at such an idea. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Susie, It was cold today. I actually chilled in the grocery and I had a jacket on. LOL But what is that I hear..oh it's no AC...that's what . I love the quiet in the house. I swear our AC ran more this summer than the furnace did in the winter. Hope you are enjoy a great day there and safe from any left over storms.
I miss my own girls being little, riding bikes roller skating and writing on the sidewalks. Oh those old sweet days. I can understand why older people get depressed at times. Life flies by and we can not stop it. Blessings to you my dear friend, love you, xoxo, Susie

  9. Oh Susie, you are so right. Hold them as long as you can. I miss those beautiful days of holding and rocking and playing with them. The kids and I used to walk the neighborhood to the park and play like your kids in these pics. It feels so lonely now they're in school. Your kids are precious and isn't Layla a lucky little girl? What a great family you have.

    1. Nonnie, I pray my great grands are not being over indulged. :)
They are being taught manners, because I have heard the parents telling them how to be kind to one another. I miss looking out my kitchen window and seeing my girls on their bikes or roller skates. Thank you for the kind comment. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I do love all babies, they don't even have to be mine. :) Some times if a baby is crying in a store...I say what's wrong honey. They will stop crying usually. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Kathy, The boys parents wanted the boys close in age so they could grow up together ...some times to me it seems a handful. But Max is mostly potty trained and that helps. They do play well together. Layla is the rowdy one.LOL She also likes to play princess. Kathy, it's cold here today and yesterday .I am not ready for winter . I know you aren't either. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie

The kids grow up so fast, and Yes, it's hard for the parents to keep up with them haha. Your wonderful family is getting bigger, and it's nice to have all three generations around at gatherings.
