Practicing....

This is a photo I took 10 days ago. She all that snow...it's gone !!! I am so glad. But they are saying on the today show, that more snow could be here Wednesday.  Big bummer.
This is a little bouquet of flowers, I bought myself . I got it at the grocery store :):) I have been trying to use my new camera and load the photos on my files...so that I will have pictures to post on my blog. I feel like a square peg in a round hole. LOL.  So it's practice, practice, practice.
I had to get a blood test this morning for my cholesterol.  I absolutely hate going around the hospital at this time of year. I wore my gloves to not touch any thing that could have cold germs on  it.  As I come out from the lab....there's a lady coughing her head off.  I turn away from her, and get the heck out of that hospital. Came home and washed up like I was headed to surgery.  LOL
Hope everyone has a great day. xo

  2. Lovely images, Susie!
I always look forward to views from your home. The sunset is beautiful. It also means that your lens was focused "out west" towards me! : )

I know about the germs! I work in an ENT clinic. Thank goodness I am in an office away from most of the patients, but I do have patient contact about 20% of the time.

We have wipes to disinfect our shopping carts in the grocery stores. We pump our own gas here in Washington State...(another way to spread germs). I use a paper towel and keep gel in the car. I could go on and on, but it would turn negative. I always have a bone to pick with the Center of Disease Control. You are lucky to live in the country. The cities and suburbs are filled with all kinds of creepy germs.

I hope the forecast of snow brings the minimal!

  3. Pretty flowers. I got flowers at the supermarket too. I think I was just starved for color.

I was in Chick-Fil-A and a little kid sneezed as he walked by my table. I said to my friend that I was going to get sick and sure enough I did. No matter what you do you just can't get away from those germs.

  4. Oh Susie, I know what you mean......I often wipe the shopping carts off first before using them during this time of year. I have had a bug myself, and they linger on for such a long time, so it seems no matter how much we take care of ourselves, the germs are out there. This is a beautiful picture of the snow and sky. I love all the pink and purples in it.

Hang in there with learning how to download pictures. Once you've got the hang of it, it starts to become so much fun.

    Have a great week, Susie.

    Love,
    ~Sheri

ps I hope your cholesterol turns out
    good. :~)

  7. I am glad to know I'm not the only one scared to death of germs. I try to be so careful about touching doors, etc. and then someone inconsiderate coughs all over me!!! You are doing fine with your camera. I love your flower bouquet. I always want a bunch from the grocery but I know my cats would EAT them!!!!!
Hope you got a treat for yourself after the bloodwork or at least a good cup of coffee!

  10. Good Monday evening, Susie. I hope your blood test will have good results. After the warm weather you have had in the past couple of days, will that snow amount to very much? xo Nellie

  12. What beautiful flowers! I know what you mean about the snow. We have had snow here since Christmas and it finally melted away over the weekend! It was almost 70 degrees here today but it's going to be cold again on Wednesday! Stay warm and enjoy those flowers (and your new camera!)

    Blessings,
    Kathleen
