Some Results.....

Here is the brick trim around the lilies, that I reworked. I actually had to dig the bricks out and replace them. It just helps to keep Ted from cutting down flowers. LOL
A little water feature up near the porch. We have an alga killer in it, that is why it is foaming. The birds will be drinking out of it later. So it is safe for birds. A couple lilies in front of the stand. This area  fills in with Black-eyed Susans, mums, and some sage.
This is the garden area. Once it had veggies and strawberries. This year hopefully wildflowers. Because that is all I am planting in it . I will put a tomato plant in a barrel, near this.
This is a flowerbed that is right at the driveway. We put these scalloped bricks in this year. It will help keep the mulch from washing into the driveway. See the sand, it will help hold them in place. There is a hydrangea in the center of this bed  . The little green clumps are Pachysandra. The hardiest plant I know. It is a ground cover plant. There is also something called Blue-eye. It is a grass like plant with small blue flowers. We need new mulch
No yard work today . Hope all of you enjoy this day.  xo

  5. Morning, Susie! Love all the flower beds! Looks like you have been playing in the nice weather. Your ground looks a bit dry, like ours. I watered most of everything yesterday. The tulips opened and just looked withered. Get what you want done out there. We got a storm coming in this weekend/first of the week and they are calling for 2-3" out of it. We could use it, that's for sure. The farmers and busting butt to get the fields planted here.

  10. Susie,
Your flower beds are coming along nicely, and I love the garden area. It's so green, and it will be nice to have a tomato plant growing there. I'd like to see your blue-eyes someday, as I love blue flowers. My roses are starting to bloom in the front yard. Gardening is so nice, and I'm so glad you like it too.

Have a wonderful rest of the week.

    1. It's not easy to do things outdoors when the wind is strong. It gets plenty windy out here. We have to tie , nail , or weigh things down . :):) I love to smell dirt when planting stuff. I guess it's because I know something is going to grow from working the soil. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
