Goodbye Pumpkins.....

I wonder if pumpkins will go on sale now. Not everyone was bought for the Halloween season.
These little basket jack-o-lanterns faces could be turn around for the thanksgiving décor.
I know that Horton's in Tipton will be setting up for the Christmas market time. But I have enjoyed all their wonderful things, they have had out for fall. Speaking of fall...well today is not going to feel that warm,.  It's going to be more like winter around our area. Some rain, wind, maybe sleet and snow flakes.
Get your gloves, hat, a coat, and stay warm. Bundle your little guys for trick or treating tonight. XO

  4. Cold here, too! Wonder if we'll still get trick-or-treaters? Many leftover store pumpkins here are donated to the animals at the zoo...

    1. Linda, I hope the little treaters wrap up well. Especially gloves on those little hands. That is a great idea of feeding the pumpkins to zoo animals. I break mine up after thanksgiving and feed to our squirrels. Enjoy your weekend, xoxo,Susie

    1. Nellie, Don't laugh, but I could pumpkin bread all year long. My favorite pumpkin thing is the seasonal ice creams that is in the stores right now. I saw where there could be a winter mix in the mountains. Brr, stay warm. xoxo,Susie

  6. Yeah, it sounds like the trick or treaters will be braving the cold tonight! We have a pumpkin patch in our area that is LOADED with pumpkins this time of year. I think after Halloween is over they use an fun trebuchet to launch them over the fence into the pasture. :-)

  13. Hi-
I just found your blog this morning over coffee.

When I saw your post, it reminded me that I wanted to try and get some actual pumpkin stems to try and make those velvet pumpkins everyone has.

    Thanks for the reminder!
