Hold On To Your Hat....

This is one of those super windy  days that proves what I say. Tie it down, nail it down, or weigh it down, or it is going to Albuquerque. I used to tell my kids things like that. LOL The wind is fierce today.
Gray skies, but oh for a minute and a half  I saw the sun . :)  We actually had a thunder storm this morning around five o'clock.. It's be cloudy , windy and getting cooler.  What is up with this crazy weather.??? At least the snow melted .
Getting things ready for this week. I have to throw together a couple crafts for my granddaughters , Emma and Savannah.  I wanted them to help make the pine cone tree ornaments.  I may pre-paint them and just let them glue on some sparkles and ribbons.
I am hoping my G.SIL comes  to thanksgiving day dinner...I am going to beg that man to help me with my computer, to get it to load my pictures. He's a computer tech. The problem is they live so far that it's not convenient  for me to drive there and back when he has time off work. I do not impose on the kids , because I know they are busy and have  many things they have to do on their days off.
Well I better get busy here myself. Wishing you a great day.  XO

    1. Gert, I hate when the trash can blow over. The truck picks it up dumps it and slams it back done here....so if it sits out too long the wind usually gets it. This is some crazy weather. I was so hoping for an Indian Summer. Bless you and Tom, xoxo,Susie

  4. As I write this (around noon) it's actually quite mild and sunny in the 60's, but as the old saying around here goes, If you (or don't) like the weather wait a minute. Sunny and in the 60's today, tomorrow snow. Hey it's New England.

  7. We have a high wind advisory here until 4:00. That isn't long from now, actually. It seems to have calmed down a little. I could use an "in house" technology assistant.:-) Hope you are able to have someone give you the help you need. xo Nellie

  9. the wind really bothers me. a lot! living on the 19th floor it is very loud up here and when it blows for a very long time like it did a few days ago it makes me feel sad and unsettled. i'm glad it stopped! of course i had my windows washed wednesday and the wind came thursday, friday, and saturday making the salt slime cover them again. oh well.

    1. bee, I bet it is a scary time with high winds that far up. I don't like the wind from the south because we have that big hickory tree ...it is goes so will the house. Then there a tulip poplar at one corner. Just different direction would mean a different situation. Right after I washed my windows it rained, a bird flew into the front ...always something, isn't it? Bless you, xoxo, Susie
