Oh To Be A Rockette.....

Watching those long legged beauties this morning.  Would have loved being one. LOL  But who has legs that long really? My girls and I always loved to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
We are getting   snow this morning . I was hoping it would skirt south of us... no walking after our meal now. Unless it melts.  I have my things ready for later.  Wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving Day to all. XO

  2. Thanksgiving blessings to you and yours, Susie. I'm thankful for our blog friendship. Speaking of the Rockettes, we were just laughing at my big black boot for my broken foot with my capri pants - VERY stylish!!!!! God bless your day. Mildred

    1. Mildred, I am thankful for knowing you as my blog sister. Once I had a broken leg, thankfully only once, I had to wear my big cast and shorts, or a pair of jeans cut up the side and safety pinned together. Sweats were easy to wear with that. Hope you heal quickly. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

    1. Missy, I want to remember to be ever thankful. You know the things we took for grated when young...like good health and strength. I know I can't do everything I want, but I am able to still do much. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  5. I was busy in the kitchen this morning while the kids (my grown ones:) watched the parade. My mama would ooh and ahh over every detail. The Rose parade was her favorite with all the flowers.

    1. I used to be just amazed at the floats in the rose bowl. I always like Macy's because you get to see and hear bits of show tunes and plays. my daughter Angie calls me every Thanksgiving morning to see if I am watching the parade. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie

    1. Kathy, You must have needed sleep more than seeing the parades. I had a fun time but am shocked at how quickly it all went by. I did not walk but did stand and do dishes and clean up with the girls. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  11. Susie,
I chuckled when you said, "who has legs that long?" because I have always had long legs. Not like the Rockettes, but pretty long haha. Susie, I love that snow picture! I just want to jump in the pictures when you show me your snow. It's supposed to rain here this weekend.

    love,
    ~Sheri
