Lunch Time...

These are some dishes I got from the goodwill. They were new you could tell. I am thinking of a sister lunch this Saturday.  Something easy and quick. I will use these little snowman dishes.
I also picked up these little bowls. I thought they would work for dessert. Maybe cake and ice cream , possibly fruit and yogurt. Like I said something simple. I do love Christmas dishes. I have had a set for 4 , for a very long time.  It's a complete set with bowls, cups, salad , and dinner plates. I have never used it , as I have 4 sisters.  But there are eight each of these plates and bowls from the goodwill . So handy. I think after Christmas would be a good time to shop for holiday dishes...to get a sale  and get enough.
It is getting colder around here now...the last few days of 40 degrees just about spoiled me. LOL.
Hope everyone has a pleasant day. XO

    1. Hi Kris, I think you are right, it going to be real winter. I was hoping no snow till Jan. LOL. I really hate blowing snow. The farmers plowed the fields..so there is no stubble to catch the snow. Stay warm and Enjoy the season. xoxo,Susie

    1. Hi Kimberly, You'll have to go to a goodwill to see if they have any...usually after Christmas. Now I don't think I can have sister luncheon, two of my sisters are not feeling well. Hope it's not the flu. Bless you and yours for a wonderful Holiday. xoxo,Susie

    1. Wanda, I know what you mean. I gave my sister some things and have never seen them at her house...and she wanted them. I think she and her daughter sold them on ebay. LOL. The trift stores have lots of cute things, I think it would be okay to mix them when it's informal...which is everyday here. :):) Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  13. Susie,
Your sisters lunch sounds delightful, and the snowman dishes are just right for it. I can't believe you have FOUR sisters, Susie! Do you all get along with each other? I am the youngest of five children, so my sister is about six years older than me.

    1. Sheri, I had 10 siblings. $ sisters and 6 brothers. One brother and his wife were killed in an accident. His name was miles and he was a beautiful person. He was a detective for the Indiana State Police...there was huge funeral in our town for him and his wife. I may do a post on them . xoxo,Susie
