Don't You Wish ???

Don't you wish there were flowers in your gardens? Oh I sure do.
Yesterday, I went to the Methodist Hospital in Indy. That's where my brother Mark is.  It was shocking, all the tubes and screens. He is no better and I did not get any more news of his condition...being it was Sunday. One nurse said  his general health was against his condition as much as anything else.  He has not taken care of his health.  Makes me so sad for him and his sons. His sons are in their twenties, not babies....but not so grown.
Thank you to all my blog friends and family. I appreciate all of you more than you will ever know.  Your kind words and prayers have touched my heart. I have passed them on to my family members too. Bless all of you.  XO

  3. Susie, I am so sorry and sad to read this news. My very dear friend just recently experienced what you are going through with her brother, whose life choices brought him to a very sad end. I am hopeful for your brother though to improve and for God's will for him and that your brother and you will be at peace.
    Your flower pics are beautiful.

  6. OH- I am so sorry, Susie. I know what it is like to lose a brother. My brother slipped into a coma the last day or so of his life and I know that he would not have wanted to live like that for long. It is sad to see them hooked up to all that stuff and sadder yet to see them in that condition.
My brother was in perfect health- ate right- exercised-didn't smoke-perfect weight---and in the end he died in less than a week after getting sick. We just never know what the greater plan is for us.
God bless you and your family as you walk this path....xo Diana

    1. Diana, when I saw the picture of Charlie, I just wanted to cry..I know you are still missing him so badly. It sounds like your brother took care of himself....my brother didn't, even after being warned. I hope they can tell us something this week. Thank you so much for your prayers. xoxo,Susie

  7. I too have watched a person I know well, who really never took care of himself struggling to hang in there. He's not quite in your brother situation but he is really just a shadow of his former self.

  10. Hi Susie,

I'm playing catch up again on blogs. I am so sorry to hear about your brother. I understand not liking their way of life, but loving them. Believe it or not, I have some family members that I'm like that with too! I have learned not to criticize them though and just keep on showing them that I do love them. Keep the faith that your brother will recover. Please keep us posted.

I want that pink pitcher at Hortons. I might have to go get it! Do you remember what it costs? I haven't been there in awhile and I won't be won't be able to go to their spring open house. It's on the first day of spring break for my cousin and we are going to FLorida again.
    Take care,
    hugs
