Mean Old February....

This photo is yesterday evening. What a cold day it was. You can see the flag straight out from the wind. But the sky looks nice.
This photo is this morning at 8:00.  4-5 inches of snow already.  More coming down. I know everyone in the east, no big deal , right. Just when spring is so near though. At least the wind has died down.
Oh yes, I had to clear a path to the mailbox before 7:00 this morning. It's getting covered again. I am not going anywhere today. More waiting.  Nothing new to report on my brother.   I will call the hospital later. They gave us a code, as family, so we can check on Mark.
Hoping all of you are safe. Use caution when going out. XO

  1. I was wondering how your brother was. Poor guy. I hope they can figure it out soon. Any idea what they are testing for.
We have had alot of snow this week. All this new snow , it's really piling up. But glad it's not ice.
I like winter but it's getting old. I am tired of being in the house.
Hugs my friend, waiting is so hard.

  3. Hello dearest Susie!
Since Mr D's sudden illness, I have been out of my normal routine. Last week, going back and forth from the hospital to work. This week, Tues and Wed, I worked short hours. N Mr D is doing well. I was able to return to full time on Thursday. He goes for a post op on Monday. We will find out the day that he will return to work.

I just caught up with you. I am so sorry to hear about your brother. Right this minute I am firing off a big hug to you, as I know you are stressed by his illness, and the resurfacing of his past discretions. Just know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers!

Spring will arrive soon and I can't wait to see that view of the flag and the fields from your home!

  6. It is mean old February here, too! I am tired of it as I know just about everyone is. We had a few inches of snow last night, too, with more coming late today.

Hope you get a good report on your brother. It is worse when you are far away and can't be there in person. xo Diana

    1. Diana, The drs. gave us every scenario possible. None sound good. But as long as I have hope, I pray. His health is not good at all. He has never taken care of himself, now it truly shows. Thank you for prayers. This snow is just not helping . Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  7. Hoping with you that Monday will bring some answers for your family.
Be careful walking to the mailbox. The winter here hasn't been like that at all, but it is cold and the wind is so strong.

  18. Yup the waiting is tough. I suppose anything I can say would just be cliché. So I'll refrain.
It hit 40 on Sunday and if any snow melted it's sure hard to tell when you have 8 feet of snow.
