Waiting....

Today I wanted to post some of my sunrise and sunset photos., for Ted's brother Ray.   Ray is in a drug induced coma , at this moment.  He has been back into the hospital and then home with hospice care.
When we spent time with him this week, he was speaking clearly and his memories were good.
He did say he wanted to go home. Not to any hospice care facility.
So hospice set up at his home. He was only home one night, before the morphine was needed.
Ray told me he did not feel that his soul was with his body. His body was tired.
I told him his soul was good and he would soon have a new body .
Ted is staying busy, trying to keep from falling apart. There's nothing more to be done than hold Ray in our hearts and prayers. If you could think one kind thought or lift him in prayer, it would be so appreciated. Thank you. XO

  5. I'm so sorry hearing about this man. My prayers with be for him when I say my prayers tonight. Prayers do have power. When I had my stroke, there were friends and others all around Canada & the U.S. saying prayers for me and I'm still here today. I was 27 years old when I had my stroke and I'm 65 today and I think God each day for my rekatives, friends & others who were praying for me. Ray will be in my mind & prayers.

    1. Nellie, I did not think that Ray would be with us the 6 -12 months the Drs. said. He was in extreme pain, to the point of not being able to sit stand or sleep at night. I think God knows it is time for Ray to go to his heavenly home. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Thank you so much Diane. It means a lot to Ted and I that others care about our pain of loss. I know it's our earthly hearts that makes us cling to the person...when in our Christian hearts we know we need to let to go . We know they are better off without pain, and they will be whole again. Bless you, love, susie

  10. Susie, I can't believe these sunsets and sunrises, they are beautiful! You have the prettiest skies around your neck of the woods. This is such sad news about Ray. I will certainly say a prayer for him.

    1. Thank you Sheri. I believe when Ray passes , he will be whole again. he will be at peace with God. He has always been a believer. Ted's have a hard time, as Ray was there for him when his father wasn't. Ted remembers when Ray had his first job and took all his siblings to the gas station for a bottle of pop and peanuts. Just writing that put a lump in my throat. Bless you my friend, love, Susie

  11. Hi Susie, I am sorry to read about Ray. I kept my mom at home with hospice and I love those folks...they are really a blessing. You told Ray the truth....he will have an Eternal Home and a new body. No pain, no sorrow, no tears. Like Ted, I try to stay busy at times like these. We can talk to God wherever we are and He knows our heartaches. May the Lord be merciful to Ray and bless each of you during this time. With love, Mildred

    1. Mildred, Hospice workers have to be so wonderful...I don't know how they do it. I know that Ray is a true believer and will be with our Lord when the time comes. I know his mother will be welcoming to him eternal home too. I know that Ray isn't suffering but his family is...that's because we cling to our loved ones. Bless you , love, Susie
