What's Going On....

This is the entrance to my sister's new apartment.  Things are still in the works for making a patio where the dirt and gravel are. There's a coffee can and cup  near her door. She's still getting settled.  Everything is so near within walking distance. Like a grocery, the library, second hand stores(junk) , cafes. They live a  block from the post office and movie theater.  A block and a half from Horton's.
My sisters Brenda and Jeanie live  two doors from each other. This is the view of the neighbor's house across from them.  Birds singing. My sister has complained about the same neighbor's dogs barking. That neighbor said to let them know if the dogs became a bother...they have those safe bark collars. No one wants to hear dogs barking when you can hear birds singing, instead. I think it'll work out okay with that nice neighbor.
My sister Barb is home from the hospital and doing well. She is not suppose to have lots of visitors and not over do.  So I am sending her cards to cheer her, rather than call.  She needs to do this at her pace.  She and I will go to lunch as soon as she feels up to it.  Thanks to all of you, once more, for your kind thoughts and prayers. You have helped me so much.  Wishing you a beautiful day. XO

    1. Oh dear Paul...I know the Tim Horton's you are speaking about...the coffee shops of Canada. The Horton's of Tipton , Indiana, is a family ran hardware,/ greenhouse/ emporium. A place ladies like to spend money on flowers, plants and decorating items. Men go there for the paint, nuts and bolts. LOL. But there a coffee shop in town and Subway sells great coffees also. I just feel as if I can relax a bit more with my sister back home. Blessings for a great weekend, xoxo,Susie

  12. I'm glad to hear that Barb is home and doing better, Susie. That's great that your sister's new apartment is close to so many things. That's too bad about the dog barking though. I used to have a neighbor that was gone most of the day, and her dog barked all day, it bothered us a lot. That is such a nuisance when this happens, and it's not fair to the neighbors. Let me know what happens, I'd love to hear.
