Things I Had To Have....

When I went to Horton's French Market, this is what I bought. A little pillow with an Indiana shaped  cutout sewn on it.  A wedding card that says, "Happily Ever After Begins Today", I bought two of these as my two step grandchildren are both getting married next month.
This is the back side of the pillow . Loved the gray/ off white chevron stripes. Looks a bit creamy colored with my lighting.  The soul mates sign, yes I got two of those for the soon to be newly wedded couples. :)
A young lady was selling re-worked clothing , jewelry and these buttons. She made the buttons herself. I got them for my daughter Kathy. She will make something cute with them.  Also a little leather bracelet with horses stamped on it.
I had to have two packages of crafting papers and cutouts.  These will be wee gifts also.
I love this little wreath. A cloth rose corsage, that can actually be pinned onto a purse or hat. I thought it would be nice in my hair at the nape of the neck. The Horton's wrapped anything bought from them in this pretty toile tissue paper. Then put into a nice brown bag with carrying handles. Most of what I bought is for gift giving.  The wreath and rose are for me.  I will be going back to the Horton's store thru this coming week. If I pick up any more treasures I will show all of you.:):)
Today some in our state are fighting flooding....again ! Our ground here in Indiana is saturated. We can not handle much more rain . The fields are standing in water, farmers losing crops. I will have them in my prayers today.  Hope today is a good day for all of you. XO

Prayers for those affected by the flooding.
I wish you a nice day. xo

    1. Mildred, Kathy likes to use buttons in some of her bracelet making. But these were fall type buttons, leaves, pumpkins...she could make a nice pin with them. Thank you for the prayers for all in need. Hope you get to enjoy your day. we are getting bit and pieces of sunshine today. Already rained this morning. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  2. Oh Susie, you're flooding and can't handle much more rain, and we need the rain so very much! Can you bring some of your water over to us? I liked all the goodies you bought at Horton's especially the rose corsage.

    Have a blessed day.

Sorry about the flooding! It doesn't seem fair that some areas of our country get so MUCH and others so LITTLE!

    1. Linda, I certainly know you understand about all the rain. Al the standing water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes too. Yikes. I am giving the buttons to my daughter...she's the crafty jewelry maker. :) You and you loved ones are in my prayers. Love you, Susie

  7. I love all your finds! YOU find the best things! I hear you on the rain. I am soooo thankful we have missed most of the inches that have fallen! All around us is bad here, too. We have severe stuff moving in tomorrow afternoon and evening- so watch out- it will be heading your way. They are talking tornadoes, hail and high winds. Muggy and buggy here. Just might hang out inside the rest of the week, except for Wed, when I have to have the lump cut out. Hope your weekend was good.

    1. Cheryl, I love junking, but do not go as much, or I'll need a pole barn to hold it all. LOL I knew there were many others getting too much rain also. I would love to share it with the dry states. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

    1. Missy, When I do go to Horton's, I try to buy something....not too expensive, can't be doing that. But I want them to stay in Tipton, so I buy something every trip there. Got all my annual flowers there...they were so nice the rabbits ate the petunias. Sad. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  12. Well I could complain about it being hot and humid but that's better than flooding so I won't.
All your gifts are quite thoughtful.

    1. Boston Boy, I just hate flooding. So much clean up involved, plus the threat of molds, if things aren't dried completely. Thank you for visiting and leaving nice comments. xoxo,Susie

    1. Gert, I saw on the news where farmers have crop insurance but have to lose 30% of their crop. Hard to say ho much is lost here in our county. I am so beyond ready for a normal summer, aren't you? bless you, xoxo,Susie
