Our Boys....

Daddy (Mark) is holding Luke, after Luke had his labs. Luke  will be needing a vitamin with iron , to help him with his Cystic Fibrosis.
Mommy (Lynzie)  , is holding Max , as he gets the sweat tests to see if he has Cystic Fibrosis also. The purple and red wraps are the tests being done. Good news Max tests were normal. He does not have  C.F.
My daughter Liz (grandma Gigi) and Max celebrate by cuddling.
Later at home both boys are happy on their blanket.  There will be more testing in Luke's future . For now he is  doing great.  A big relief for all of us. Thanks for the prayers, everyone.
Here's the boys' aunt Emma.  She has gone to the dogs....it sure appears to be so. She sent this picture of herself  dog sitting for some friends. I hope they got their dog back from her.  :):)
This week went by quickly to me.  Three days left in this month, my head is spinning at how fast July came and went. The fact that some schools are starting doesn't help. Emma, Savannah, and Skylar go back on August the 8th.  Wow, my siblings and I would be crying if it were us during our school days. LOL
We are to have some nice weather, maybe a pop up shower here and there today. Wishing all of you a great weekend. XO

    1. Kathy, Those boys make me smile when I see their pictures even. I do not want our summer to be flying by like it seems to be...even though it's been miserable hot some days. We know each summer day gone is one day closer to winter...and girl , I am not looking forward to that. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Jenn, I am amazed at how strong Luke seems to be and he is just 3 months now. I loved how his daddy had his finger locked around Luke little body. I feel so blessed that Mark and Lynzie are such great young parents and will care for their boys. Do we as mothers ever stop worrying about our children? Blessings to you honey, xoxo, Susie

  3. I am glad that Max is okay and that Luke is getting the help he needs. That is just so sad and such an awful thing for a parent to have to deal with. One of my son's best friends in school had CF. She was such a sweet girl and the light of her grandmother's life. She lived quite a long life-well into her late 20s and actually died accidentally-not from the CF.

I hope you have a blessed, wonderful weekend, Susie. xo Diana

    1. Diana, I knew that Lynzie and Mark would have enough with Luke's fight...so I am thankful God spared Max...I still pray one day God will take the C.F. from Luke . I never give up hope. God is able to do it all. There's newer medicine every year and tests and treatements..so there's hope in that too. Blessings to you and yours, hope you have a great weekend, xoxo, Susie

  4. I am so glad Max's test was good and Luke is doing well. From experience, I know how hard it is on a family to go through chronic medical issues. Sending prayers and good thoughts their way!

  5. Oh Susie, these boys are just the cutest boys. I didn't remember little Luke had cystic fibrosis, I'm sorry to hear that. That is such good news about Max. Mark is such a good daddy, and Lynzie is such a good mommy. This is a cute picture of Emma with the dog nose haha. And I love this picture of Liz and Max. Liz is so pretty. Can you believe school is starting August 8 for some? Where does the summer go?

    Have a wonderful weekend, Susie.

    1. Sheri, When Luke was born the hospital gave him a test and said he had C.F. Then he had more test two weeks later and it was confirmed. They said Max should be tested also. I am so thankful Max does not have it. I still hold Luke in my prayers...I never give up the hope that our Lord will heal him. It will be an on going fight ...so we ourselves must not bring colds, whooping cough or things like that around Luke. The boys have great parents. I am thankful for that also.
Yikes, so hard to believe school is starting in July and August. Makes a short summer. When does Jess start back? I forgot to ask Angie. :( I told her what you said about admiring teachers. :):) Blessings, love you, xoxo, Susie

    2. Jess starts back teaching her second graders in August, in about three weeks. She's savoring every moment of the summer haha. Teaching every day can really be draining, but she prepares for the upcoming school year with lessons and fun projects, and that makes it easier. : )

  6. Susie, I am glad and thankful to read the results of Max's test. I know that is a relief for all of you. All your family is d looking and you are blessed to be surrounded by your loved ones. Nothing is too difficult for God and I know He will continue to have His hand upon Luke and his parents. I think it's kind of mean to make those kids start school so early. Gee whiz! Xoxo

These schools are starting in summer now...amazing. I do not understand it fully. Some schools started this week. Well they get no time in August off. Remember we used to get all of June,July, and August and went back after labor day. Let's hope they aren't burn out by Oct. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  13. Beautiful boys, Max and Luke. Love and prayers for all of you. God has a plan and I often don't understand.....but I must trust him.
Your familiy has such a strong unit of love and support for each other. You're an inspiration to all.

The quads start kindergarten on August 28th. I'm so grateful it's late in the month.

We all leave for the beach the middle of August so there's still a month to do things with them before school starts. I've been gone so much lately that Kailey sent me a video. She was short and to the point. "Hi, MeeMaw. I miss you and I know you miss me too. Gooodbye."
I better get back home real soon!

    1. Thank you Linda for the prayers. I thankful for the good report of the boys. The dr. told Lynzie that Luke might be his first over weight C.F. patient...which is a good sign for Luke..to be hardy.
Your baby quads..going to Kindergarten..I just can't believe it. Those years went by way too quickly. Some things you tell about them just touches my heart, Like Kailey's message to you. I saw my Emma yesterday...she's changing as she grows up. Not as clinging and kissy. I miss those days. Please hug the quads for me. Blessings to all of you, safe trip home. xoxo, love you, Susie

  14. Great news for your little Max and I'm sending prayers for Luke. They are so precious, Susie...it breaks my heart to think of them getting stuck with needles. But I know they are fortunate to have this care.

July is coming to an end and I feel like I'm still doing outdoor things I should have completed in May. I'm sort of looking forward to sort slow down in my life as the weather cools off and we head into fall and winter. Silly, I guess, because I so love being outdoors. I just have to buckle down and summer distracts me!

    Love to you,

Blondie girl, this weekend has been the best weather. I wish summer could be this way...low humidity.:):) I think it's the fact that school is starting so early, I feel like time is being cranked up to a faster speed...and this old girl can't take that. LOL Blessings to you, enjoy your flowers of summer. xoxo, Susie
