Little Girl, Big City...

Here's our sweet Savannah, ready to get to school and catch the bus going to NYC.
They were late for the Tuesday morning Today Show audience. But they toured the NBC studios. You can see the famous Rockefeller Center behind her .
I think this is at the top of the Empire State building. I hope this sight took her breath.
Central Park is the green patch . I hope they got to go there also. Savannah's school choir was on this trip. They will be seeing two Broadway shows. I can't remember what she was to see...so I will tell you later.
They must have had those kids hit the ground running. NBC studios, Empire State building, Radio City Music hall. This is the guest signing book.at Radio City.  Savannah was to send me plenty of pictures to download...but I think she's not thinking about that so much. LOL. I just told her to enjoy it all , the buildings, streets, people, wonder of it all. She'll be home on Saturday morning.
Found a wooly worm yesterday , on the step. He has big fur coat....hope that doesn't mean lots of snow. LOL.  Do you know?
Hope your day was nice. It was pretty and pleasant here today. XO

Honey, her home town is a burg, about 30 people at the most...so for her to see NYC just thrills me for her. :) If you ever get the chance to go, you must. I went a couple ties with our travel club and love it. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

    1. Kathy, I am sure she was amazed...her wee burg of a town has about 30 people. I think the school she attends only has graduating classes under a hundred. I would love a train ride to NYC. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I've always heard that black wooly worms mean a bad winter. I haven't seen any woolies yet this year.

    1. Debbie, I do not think my mother would have allowed me to go to NYC at 15. But hey I have made up for that. I have been there twice. I love the Rockefeller Center. Love the flags, the statue, the excitement. What a fun place to work while young. Hope you are doing well. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Glad you liked the pics of our trip to Paris, we took a ton of them. My mom used to say that Native Americans could tell how hard of a winter it would be by how thick the stripe was on a fuzzy caterpillar:)

    1. Donna, I am glad for Savannah to see NYC. I want her to aspire to go places , see thing, do adventures. I did not know that about the wooly worm's bands. So interesting. I just hope it's cold enough this winter to freeze out lots of insects. The bugs are fierce right now here at harvest time. Blessings to you , xoxo, Susie
p.s. hope to see more Paris photos.
