Loving Nature.....

This is the best moon shot I could get. It is rising above the woods.
The blue at the top is clouds....so once the moon got there, no more moon for me to see.
  Sunsets have been beautiful.
Fiery at times. I guess this is a sailor's delight sky.
Some sunsets just peeped thru at the horizon.
Some were very cloudy but still pretty. I have been so disappointed , not being able to see the super blue blood moon. One day I am hoping to see some fabulous moons to get pictures. I texted my grandson in Seattle and told him to take his wife to look at this super moon. It won't be super blue blood for another 150 years.  Worth seeing. :):)
I have a chunky little visitor on the porch this week. Not sure what he was eating.
Oh he must be bashful. He took off after I got a couple photos. LOL He appears very healthy.  Since the cat, Stormy , has been around, the squirrels have not approached the porch much. During the unbearable cold spell of 14 days, Stormy has been a shop cat. That darn cat has mesmerized Ted. I told him she hypnotized him to do her will. Now she does not want to come walk around the yard . Once the weather breaks , she will be back outside, as she interrupts Ted with his work, to be petted.  :):)
Wishing all a great day, stay healthy, please.XO

    1. Diana, That cat will reach out for your hands..to get you to pet her. She was not that friendly when she first showed up here. She's loving the warmth of the shop so much, she doesn't even want to come out for a walk about. :) I want to get moon pictures as good as everyone else. I just have the worst luck there. I have seen some amazing phenomenons in all my years. I love the planets and stars. We have to wrap up again...it's getting cold here. Those nice days spoil me. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie

    1. Laurie, I thought that squirrel was a chubby one too. I did get to see the moon coming up,but missed the red glow as it left the horizon in the morning hours. I love seeing moon phenomenons. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  3. You got amazing pictures of the moon. And I love your sunsets. Sunsets here haven't been that colorful. I wish I lived near you, I would take that cat to be my inside cat. I love cats. That squirrel doesn't look as if he has missed too many meals.

    1. Karen, I truly hope the children did get out to view the moon...it was a rare moon phase. I do get some pretty sunsets. I catch them , because the setting sun shines on my spot on the sofa. LOL. So I run out to snap a couple photos. You know how quickly the sky changes. Blessings to you, stay warm, the cold is returning. xoxo, Susie

  9. Susie, I love nature as well. You truly see God's hand in all the beauty! Love your beautiful photos. Hubby and I got up at 4:30 to see the bloom moon and couldn't see a thing. It was too overcast. :( Sounds like one lucky cat!

Squirrels are so fun to watch but can be a nuisance just the same.

  15. It was cloudy here, so I didn't get to see the moon either. The temperature keeps dropping, then going back up....I think that's why I can't get rid of this cold I have. I am anxious for Spring time weather to get here, and stay. Have a great weekend, my friend.
    Love you.

  16. Such beautiful sunsets, Susie. I think you see the sunsets more than the sunrises. I see the sunrises more cause I'm a morning person and get up bright and early. That mischievous squirrel on your porch - what a cute picture. Oh, I wanted to see the blue moon too, but didn't get a chance to.

Have a wonderful weekend, Susie. I really loved your nature pictures.

    love, ~Sheri
