Hot Pretty Days.....

Trying to lure birds with feeders and flowers.  Getting the hummingbirds here a lot. I have changed out their feeder to freshen it. This isn't it. :)
Thirteen years ago, I bought a flat of this ground plant. It's called patchysandra. It's crazy hardy. I planted that flat in town and brought a few pots of it out here from what I grew in town. . This is just one spot I planted out here in the country. I have given so much to my children too.  It will get this pretty yellow flower on it , but stay so nice and green the rest of the time. Kind of browns during winter.
See how pretty the skies have been. A little too warm to work long in the heat but love the sunshine.
My granddaughter sent me a picture of her dog Madison. The sweetest dog ever. Loves people . Lynzie said she needs to be groomed, but I think she looks pretty just as she is.
Hope all of you are doing fine,  and staying well.  I am praying for all of you. Ted and I are well. My dental appointment went okay, no return visits. Ted got his maintenance chemo, has not lost all his energy yet. Maybe in a week.  His rides the exercise bike and lifts weights., when he can. Doing well so far.  Glimpsing a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.  Please stay safe. XO

  1. That looks like some hardy ground cover. Hope the ground cover we planted yesterday grows like that.

Can't put out bird feeders here by me because it attracts the bears.

    1. Ted will start to feel a bit weaker in a few days. I always hope he doesn't but it is the same each time. My dental appt went ok. But when my regular dentist gets back to work, I'll go see him and have a conversation. I really like Madison the dog. So sweet and never barks unless the doorbell rings. Blessings for a fun weekend . xoxo, Susie

Yes, It's good that Ted and I can get a few things done. But as you know honey...it's always something. I just cry little and pray alot. Stay safe, Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Oh Jeanie with my fear of dental work , I could have danced leaving that office. But I will return to see my own dentist when he comes back to work...as I feel something is not right. Blessings for a wonderful week. Stay safe, xoxo, Susie

    1. Thank you so much Debbi. Ted is starting to feel slower. That's how the chemo works on him. He slows down for a couple weeks, then starts to regain some energy, then it's time for more chemo.:( I feel more will be done with peaceful protests than rioting. It's way past time. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Thank you Shirley, I remember all the things you had to deal with as your husband was in the nursing home. You took care of him too. It's hard to take care of ted's health, his chores, my chores, paper work, and my own health. Which has been pushed back so many times, I even forget my own meds. Good thing I only take two pills a day, one being an aspirin. Blessings to you, stay safe, xoxo,Susie

    1. Hi Janice, Those cocker spaniels have a good disposition. I don't know if our hummers go to the honeysuckle here, because the cardinals built a nest in it. They are so fun to watch. My mom used to sit on our porch and marvel at their size and speed. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
