Got My Teddy Bear Back...

Hi everyone. I have my Ted back home with me. Picked him up at the hospital at 11:30 yesterday. He has some meds and breathing treatments to do for a few more days. He is so much better already.  Thank you sweet blog family for your kind wishes and prayers. So much power in prayers.

It was a few days after Thanksgiving, but we had some of the delicious food my daughter Kathy made for our Thanksgiving day. It was just as good and enjoyable . I was happy to have something so wonderful to just warm up.

This morning at 7:00 , after Ted's treatment, he  was saying, "oh that coffee smells good" He said he hope the hospital didn't dull any knives while they were slicing off cups of coffee for the patients. LOL Must have been strong.

We all know there's nothing like your own bed and food.  I want to thank all the beautiful drs and nurses for getting Ted back on track so quickly.  For all of you front line people...bless your hearts. Be safe everyone. Don't over gather at Christmas either. Please. XO

    1. Thank you. It just is so lonely when Ted is in the hospitals. He has had many trips there since 2018. The breathing treatments are working so well. It will be a tough week. My oldest daughter will have a birthday this week and my g.grandson. I won't get to be with them. Take care there, praying for you. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  4. Ooh dear Susie, I am just now catching up on your posts, and am happy to read that Ted is now home with you, and feeling much better. Pneumonia is something I am very familiar with, and it's nothing to take likely as you already know. Continued healing thoughts are sent your way, Ted is one strong man ! Bless him.

    1. Thank you Jo. Ted is a strong man and a fighter. He sure tries his best to stay upbeat. Humor is how we deal with much around here. I still tease him about not running the vacuum since his heart dr. said that over 20 years ago. :) Stay safe Jo. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

  22. I had to go to the post before this one to see what had happened to your husband and am glad he tested negative for COVID. However, it still sounds pretty scary. I hope he is doing so much better now. I have a lot of respect and gratitude for the tirelessly working nurses and doctors. They must be exhausted.

    1. Thank you Diana. I wish one day we could all go back to Horton's. Diana, I thought while Ted was in the hospital I might be able to get a couple things done. Gee, I was on the Phone all of Thursday and Ted called and wanted me to bring his phone charger to the hospital. Needless to say still running around. I am never going to be caught up. I still have all the leaves piled along the back fence., wanted to haul them to the woods. As Charlie Brown would say, Awk ! Ted is better and I am glad he is home. I do dream of a vacation one day. LOL Remember those. ?? Hope you got some answers about John. Bless your sweet heart, xoxo, love you, Susie
