That Porch Table....

This is a cheap little door mat from the dollar store.  I loved the colors and the print.
So...I decided to paint that table and do a little art work on it. I copied a bit of the door mat.  When I am finished with this table , in my life time, it will have twenty coats of paint .LOL
I wanted to show the other things I had painted but my computer only let me show two photos today..gaaa, I am going to be bald soon. One day I can access all my photos and the next I have to try at different times to even get one posted.
Rain predicted for today. Some have suffered through bad storms in the heart land. They are in my thoughts and prayers. Hope all of you are safe. xo

    1. Kris, I did a quick job of it...the wind sees to blow whenever I want to paint outdoors. I had picked up some discount rrag rugs for the porch and they have that rad and aqua colors in them. Hoping I get to sit out and enjoy them before it snows again. LOL. I sure can't take oppressive heat. xoxo,Susie

  7. I so like your painting better than the original. Looks really nice. I know so many are in such a bad way with those sisters that went through that little town and took so much. Prayers for the ones starting over today.

    1. Tete, I am a strong person. But I honestly do not know how I would do if I lost my town. That was so scary, plus more storms last night. I always pray if will all just get very weak and not turn to storms. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  9. Oh Susie, I'm so surprised that it's raining there today. It's going to be a hot one here. I didn't know you knew how to paint - that is such a talent. I always wanted to draw or paint, but never had any talent at it. The table looks very nice. Enjoy your rain, Susie. It makes the flowers grow and makes everything look clean again.

    love,

    1. Thank you Diane. Ted said , "hey that's wall paint you are using." I told him it really doesn't matter as I usually paint that table every Spring. LOL. That's why I say it'll have some many layers of paint, it'll have to be sand blasted clean. LOL. xoxo,Susie

  12. This is such a cute table, I would have hung on to it. too. It looks neat with the mat inspiration! I have a step ladder and a table I want to paint for outdoors. I saw a Pin where someone painted a little step ladder so cute and had it in the garden with small plants on it. So...with the rain, doom and gloom til Saturday, I can get on it!!

Thank always for your nice visits, Susie! :)

    1. Diana, You are the daring painter, I remember you painted that TV:):) That little table stays on the porch in all the weather. So I don't think I can hurt it with paint...that's why it'll have so many layers. LOL. xoxo,Susie
