Finishing The Week.....

Wednesday as I came out of the subway shop. There were men working on the courthouse. Putting a sealer on the limestone above the windows. This is going to take some time. Oh I went to the sub shop for a coffee after going to the "Dr" nurse practitioner.
This is Thursday afternoon. By evening we were having some mild storms.
This is the clematis this morning. It seems to have loved the sunny days and last nights rain.
Porch plants , the wind has worked them over. :)
I am so ready for some mild days outside.
Lynzie sent me this photo of Max. He is showing off his new found attraction...a clump of dirt. LOL  He is loving it.  For a minute I thought he had followed the dog too closely. You all know how young kids can be when outdoors. Nothing is beyond belief.
I am wishing all of you a great weekend. Please be safe if you are in the line of storms. XO

  2. Hahaha! Our little Jack actually ate a little dog poop when he was toddling around. It freaked Amy out, but apparently he's no worse for the wear. Such a cute little guy is your Max! That clematis is jut gorgeous! Wow! I can never get petunias to work around here. Have a nice weekend.

    1. Oh Nonnie, You know exactly what I thought was in Max's hand. Poor Jack. Who knows what our children eat when we aren't looking. I know that Brock ate part of a lady bug, because he handed me 1/2 of one and was spitting...he was about the age Max is right now. I love how very hardy this clematis has been. I think it needs a bigger trellis. . Blessings to you this weekend. Stay safe. xoxo, Susie

    1. Diana, I just stepped outside and it's actually chilly. We had had a cool down since todays rain. Never know what to wear. Oh Max just makes me smile. He's happy and dancing all the time or so curious about things. I wish I lived closer so I could see that sweet family more. But now I have this cold and can't be around the baby. Hope your weekend little boy is fun. He is growing fast. I miss your writing about SC 's adventures. Blessings to all of you, xoxo, Susie

    1. Karen, Purple was my mom's absolute favorite color. Dad used to says , " She has 30 pairs of pants, 20 are purple and the rest are white." That would make mommy laugh everytime. Yikes, eating rocks...makes my teeth hurt thinking about it. I think they eat things we do not even know about. LOL. Blessings for a great weekend, I think you will have rain too. xoxo, Susie

  9. The rains have made your flowers bloom nicely, Susie. Look at those vibrant colors! Little Max looks adorable, and he grows every time I see him. Boys find the simplest things to make them happy, just like Max found this clump of dirt hahaha.

Have a pleasant weekend, Susie. I know you are longing for nice weather, so I hope you get it soon.

    1. Blondie, All this rain...I am sure it's not needed here in our area...but all the rain and the high temps made things grow here. Ted will need to mow twice when it dries up enough .LOL Glad you are loving your gardens. You will have double duty with two homes to tend. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Thank you Missy. I had a clematis by the shed and it was in sun all day long and did not last...But I think Ted weeds to closely at times. LOL. This clematis is on the east side of the house and is not in the afternoon sun. I hope yours does well. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Hi Kris, I just can get enough of watching max learn and discover. This clump of dirt just made me laugh. I think I need a heavier trellis for the clematis. It's so big this year. So far this week has been too wet . I am really tired of all the rains. Hope you are staying calm for your big move. Blessings to all of you, xoxo, Susie
