Friday ....

Here is the last day of this month, all I can say is , Good Bye February . This has been a cold  snowy month for Indiana and many ,many other states. Birds can't   even get a decent bath around here. :):)
I did see birds bathing in the melted waters last week early. Too cold today.  Once this next week is over, things may calm down. At least I am hoping.
Ted will be giving some lessons on the lathe this weekend. So he'll put the political signs aside for that. I will be cleaning and cooking..zzzzz, oh sorry, talk about  boring routine.
Maybe all of you will have something more fun to do. What ever it is enjoy your weekend and stay safe.  xo

    1. Ha, Ted is the least political person ever. He hates it. Spring is very near, surely it will come soon. xoxo,Susie

  6. It is nice to see the sun, Susie. But Sunday in Indiana may be another story...Spring will come for sure and then the birds can hang around all they want. :)

  7. It looks like some ground is showing behind your bird bath, Susie!! We still have a few feet of snow on the ground yet. It was 21 below when we woke up this morning. The grandkids want to go snowboarding, and skiing this weekend. I hope it warms up so we don't freeze our faces off...literally!! lol.
    Love you, sweetie!

  8. Susie,
February is over, can you believe it! I love this little bird bath. I wanted to tell you that on my post today, you were one of the few that realized that was me and my friend. I think some thought both pics were of my friend. Since then, I made a note of it, (that's me in the purple), but you have got the keen eye, Susie, and are sharper than you think. :~)

    Love,
    ~Sheri

  9. Hi Susie, I am kinda thinking this is the calm before the storm. Just last night on the news they said...with all this snow, when it starts to melt it will have no place to go and we could see a lot of flooding going on. I am kind of worried about the spring rains and thawing. The frost line went down to 4 1/2 to 5 ft and alot of water mains broke in the city. So there is no telling what might happen. Eventually the winter will be over and this all will be a bad memory. If this was the coldest winter...hateing to see what summer will be like....hot....uge!!!

  10. I think I will be more excited when March is over, hah. Nothing exciting here this week-end. A memorial service and babysitting for the little. I guess that is exciting, hah. Hope we survive this week-end's storm.
