Nine Below Zero Today......

That is how cold it is here today. Nine below !!! So I dug through some photos. These are some flowers I saw at Shipshewana, Indiana, a couple springs back. I'd love to be shopping for some of these right now. :) Wouldn't you love to own that flower cart? I may see if we could come up with a couple wheels, we could make our own cart. I do love wave petunias.
I have played rummy with Ted about every afternoon since the middle of January. Wrote my sister a letter almost everyday. Some times I put two letters in one envelope. LOL Kept the laundry done, cooked, cleaned, sorted papers and shredded old things. Read many, many things. All I can say is..."Come On Spring !!"

  1. I'm with you! Spring can't come soon enough. I've gotta get into my seed catalog and refresh my memory of springtime past. This winter has been far too long and far too cold.

  2. Good Morning, We are right in there with you with the cold. We got a foot of snow and if we get a lot more, I don't know where we will put it. I am so ready for Spring, looking at the almanac we are in for a snowy February. Good thing it is a short month. Take care. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

  7. I so love your photos and I think you could make your own flower cart pretty easy if you got a couple wheels. LOL on getting all that done...I am now looking at things and going why bother? This has got to end sometime. Have a great weekend and keep the cards handy.

  9. I can't even fathom 9 degrees below.

We had rain, quite welcome in our drought, yesterday. We went out for dinner and my daughter and I were complaining about the cold. It was probably 50 degrees. We are wimps.

  10. Aww..bless your heart! You must have liked seeing all my flowers and grass out there in the yard. I was hoping to cheer..I hope it cheered you. I can't wait for the lovely Spring flowers to come to Lowe's and Home Depot. another months or two and things should begin to warm up for you. It goes fast..but I imagine it can drag when you are in your sort of weather.
    Big hugs,
    Mona

  14. Susie,
Nine below Zero, of my! We have rain rain rain here in California, and very much needed. The flower cart is so pretty, and purple is my favorite color.

Brrrrrr, stay warm Susie, and have a nice weekend.
