This Wednesday....

This is just one drift around here today. I have shoveled to the mailbox...as if, the mail carrier will come today. Ted is snow blowing the driveway by the garage. I almost have our other drive cleared. We are to get a couple more inches of snow. Then it be nice and cold the next two days. Then more snow for the weekend. I know , I know, I am counting our blessings as we did not get the ice.
I am praying for all of you who did get ice. I pray if you lost power, it isn't off long. Our roads are not good anywhere. I hope everyone will just take their time getting to and from their job, the stores, or schools. All schools are closed around here. Heard where the children's museum is closed today in Indy......so this would be a good time to read to the kids. Or watch movies, bake cookies, play board games.
My girls and I would always play scrabble, or spill & spell, any of the word games. We had one that had verbs, nouns, prepositions, everything to make a sentence. You would shake it up , then dump the words, then form a sentence if you could...so funny. Some of those sentences were as if we were just spoke choppy English.
Stay warm and safe today dear friends. xo

  4. I love scrabble. It's the only board game that I like. My daughter is a board game fanatic and when we go on vacation, she always brings the games. Ugggg. Enjoy your time to just be.

  6. That is quite a snowdrift! Our snow has finally ended and we have sunshine. Schools are still closed around our area. We didn't get the foot of snow they were predicting, I don't think, but it's enough. Scrabble is a fun game that I still like to play when I get the chance. I can remember playing that with my grandmother years and years ago.
    Stay safe and warm!

  7. You have too much snow and we have no rain. Someone is going to have to come up with a fix for this problem. I am worried that when all the snow melts you will have flooding.

    Stay warm, play games, laugh!

  9. Brrrrrr. And the game time sounds like it was a blessing and much fun!

We're having temps in the teens tonight. We've had ice and there as some white stuff a couple of weeks ago - mostly just cold and windy. I think I'm really ready for spring. Waiting for all the color to come back!

Haven't been by in 'forever'. Enjoyed my visit!

    Thanks, Jenn
