Time Is Flying.....

I am thankful today, that I had a nice visit with my oldest daughter, yesterday. I have not had a visit since Christmas. I have not been with any of my girls , since then. This winter has truly kept many of us home bound. It was nice to share a coffee and have some laughs.
Angie showed me pictures of her and her sisters that she has taken from facebook. When my girls were little, we had no camera. So at any family function, who ever had a camera would take pictures. Those of us with children , did not know how often ....so there are photos out there , that I have not seen before. I laughed when I saw Angie, just 5 years old , holding her twins sisters at the same time. It was all she could do and they looked as if they were slipping from her lap. Oh bless their hearts.
I think back to when we had very little. Today I can hardly believe all the photos, electronics, and media equipment that everyone owns. I feel as if I were reared in the stone age. Dang !
We got about an inch of snow last night....now I can deal with that. LOL ... Hope all of you have a wonderful Sunday. xo

  1. Hi Susie,
I am with you about technology. I feel like when my girls were young we lived in the stone age too. Now they have so many options for saving memories. Have a great start to the week.

  5. We had a little camera, but the cost of developing film stopped a lot of picture taking. I finally bought myself a camera when I went to college and have some pictures from my college years, but very few from high school. Of course now I take a dozen pictures a day, and really like it. Have a sweet Sunday.

  6. Susie, how wonderful to spend some time with your kids and to see those 'lost' pictures. I still feel like I'm in the stone age sometimes as I have no concept of technology or how to use it apart from writing a blog and answering e-mails..Happy Weekend..Judy

  7. Susie,
I laughed with your post today because I feel the same way about electronics. They fixed my computer yesterday, and I didn't know what they were doing haha. But I was so grateful for them because they know all the latest stuff. I'm so glad you had a nice visit with your oldest daughter and caught up on many things.

I wish I could see your snow. It was pretty warm here today, but is going to rain a lot next week.

    Love,

  8. My youngest brother is 16 years younger than me. The first computer I ever saw was his. He grew up in technology, I grew up with a black & white TV. When I tell him about rotary phones, he laughs.
