Containers....

This big container is one of  possibly 35 around our town. I guess I may have to count them. We used to have wooden containers. Now it's these black poly types. I love the colors , they are all the same as far as flowers and plants go.
Some of my lilies bloomed .  There's something growing among them. It looks like carrot tops. Can anyone tell me what this might be, as I do not have a clue. It's so healthy looking, so I am pretty sure it's a weed. What do you think?
We are having a gentle rain right now, I do not know how long it will last.  Hope your day is nice.  xo

  10. The planters are so pretty! I just love it when a town dresses itself up...just shows pride and looks so nice. I think it makes homeowners want to do the same. Our town does planters and hanging baskets...and I love when they add flags to all the poles for the patriotic holidays.

    1. There is a town north of here that has the hanging baskets, they are even on the bridge that goes over the Wabash River. Of course it's a bit hard to water them , they have a little wagon with a pump to get water up to them. It all looks os nice for the towns though. Hope you are having a good day Laura, xoxo,Susie

  17. Our small town square is on the historic register and is home to some of the nicest antique stores in the area.
Luckily the shop owners contribute to displays of potted containers, and to the upkeep. Like yours, it makes the town just a little more beautiful.
Not sure about your weed, still scratching my head :)
