Helicopters....

Last evening, I heard a noise over head. I grabbed my camera and by the  time I  got outside, these four helicopters were really almost to far to bother with a photo. Boy do I need a zoom lens.
I love planes, helicopters, and blimps. Once when Ted and I were at the cover bridge fest in Parke County, In. , we took a ride in a helicopter around the area. A Vietnam veteran was piloting it, offering rides. When we landed , Ted said, that was not so exciting. I said it was from my seat. Ted was in the back and I was in the front. All that was between me and falling out was the seat belt. There were no doors on this helicopter. :):) Weeee!
Hope you are having a good day. Cloudy here with threat of rain, but at this very moment the sun is trying to pop out. :)  xo

  4. I've never flown in a helicopter. My brother pilots a small plane and I've never flown with him, either!!!

  5. I took two lessons in a small plane and I could not stop giggling. It was ten times the excitement of any roller coaster. You should at least fly with your brother..to admire his ability to fly an aircraft. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  6. Never been in a helicopter. Years ago my husband and I got to fly in an old bi-plane....that was fun. We had goggles on and the smile on my face was frozen we were going so fast. Then the pilot dove straight towards a train and swooped up...oh my gosh, I was young and brave then....don't know if I would like that now.

  9. My husband used to work on air craft carriers so he is mad on helicopters and is often in the garden with his binoculars.. I am always saying we are going to be done for spying! And we have loads of aeroplanes as we are on the flight path of several airports.. so interesting to watch and oh how I long to be on one some days.
    Blog hopped and found you!

    1. Chris, Thank you for visiting. I bet your husband has some great pictures of his days on board. I see plenty of vapor trails , caused by planes out of Indy. But they fly to high to admire. LOL. Hope you have agreat week, blessings, xoxo,Susie

  10. I am not a good flyer because of vertigo issues, but even if I didn't have that I don't think I could sit in a helicopter with just the seat belt keeping me from falling out! Brave girl!

We have had beautifu weather. Some rain last night. A little bit ago thunder. We have had some rainy days but it brings the temps down. I am not a hot weather person so this is nice.

    1. Debby, That is sad. Can't watch kids enough when there water around. It rained hard here this evening around 4:00 lasted a while too. I do not like hot humid weather at all. I love just 65-70 degrees low humidity...now that's for me. xoxo,Susie
