Yesterday....

Here's our granddaughter, Lynzie Doodle , sitting on her new chair. She's the sweetest girl.
The day started so foggy we could not see a 1/4 mile down the road. But it absolutely turned into the nicest summer day. Fluffy white clouds , blues skies, and sunshine.
We took Lynzie to Red Lobster for lunch. We had some very good food. Ted always gets the sailor's platter and raspberry tea. It was a great time with our now grown and married granddaughter. Where did all the years go?
We may have some rain every day for about 5 days. YIKES.....Ted may have to start building an Ark, as his next woodworking project. LOL.  Wishing all a great weekend.  XO

Hope you have a fun day , I am pulling weeds....that is what the rain is helping to grow here. :):) Take care, xoxo,Susie

We just went to Red Lobster last weekend. I got the shrimp, too! We've had rain all week...ugh.
Poor Maddie didn't have a very good week up here. Hopefully the next few days will be better weather for her.
    Have a great holiday!
    Love to you, dear one.

    1. Hi Debbie, You spell your granddaughter's name the same way our mother 's name is spelled....but mommy's name the "A" was a long "A". She was from the hills of Tenn. that may have something to do with it. LOL.. I am tired of rain...can't keep up with the weed pulling. I am taking a break now from pulling weeds.LOL. Blessings for a better weekend. xoxo,Susie

  3. It is cloudy and going to be hot. It is already 76 degrees. Your granddaughter is so pretty. You can tell she likes her new chair. I can see them sitting in them in the evening relaxing. We are in for a stormy weekend. I wish it would just go away and be nice for a while. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

    1. Shirley, Lynzie did smile and even got her dog in the chair with her once. I have not heard what her husband thinks yet. He could not get off work. They were lucky to squeeze in a week of honeymoon. I am at the age where humidity just knocks me out. I am hoping some of this bad weather will just "Poof" be gone. Blessings to you dear friend, xoxo,Susie
p.s. hope your hubby is some better..

    1. Lynzie is a nurse, so she is taking extra hours after having had her honeymoon. So I was happy to have a day with her.
Her mom nicknamed her doodle bug when she was about 6. So I still call her doodle at times. :):) Hope your weekend is good, xoxo,Susie

  7. You have a beautiful granddaughter. When you said she was grown and married, I just thought I bet Susie wonders where the time went. It passes so quickly and the little ones grow up so fast.
Enjoy your week, in spite of the rain.

    1. Hi Patty, Today I have pulled a blue million weeds. This rain is working against me now. LOL. I am seriously thinking of taking all my newspapers out and putting down as a weed guard. I did not think I need mulch this year, but hey I guess I need a few bags. Take care and have a great weekend, xoxo,Susie

    1. Debby, Ted made a set of chairs and the stools for the kids as a wedding present. The stool can be turned the other way around so your leg aren't resting on it just your feet. Ted's goping to have to get busy with that Ark...lots of people are having too much rain. We luck out when the bad storms came through....just some limbs and branches down. Blessings to you and your family, xoxo,Susie
