I think I caught a cold cootie from my daughter Angie. She's had a cold ...she caught from all her class. :):) Seems they have all been passing a cold back and forth. I am hoping I can doctor this and be rid of it in say, two weeks. LOL
I am so thankful I bought these breads from Bob Evans while Angie and I were shopping this week. A slice of cinnamon coffee cake and a steaming cup of coffee, got me started today. I have been using disinfectant wipes all thru the house this morning. I do not want Ted to get sick.
Ted mowed our lawn Tuesday. I thought it was too soon....can you tell men that. Save your breath. :):)
A little robin came along to wish us good morning. I have been listening to the birds when I can...we are getting so much rain. I am only out to put mail in the box and pick up any the carrier leaves . I do not want to spread this cold...if it is one. Just feeling stuffy.
Wishing all a wonderful weekend. I am hoping spring is arriving where you live. XO
I hope that you feel better soon Susie! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pilar. I appreciate your good wishes. I hope you enjoy your weekend also. Hopefully we can all have some true spring days soon...and I don't mean the rainy ones. :):) Bless you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI hope that you feel better soon Susie! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh dear Susie...a spring cold is no fun at all! However, I am so "jelly" of your Bob Evans bread....my mother's favorite!!! And...just look at that gorgeous spring yard you have! WOW! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBetsy, I do not want this to be an allergy..as I have never had any before. But I do hate colds. I have been extremely fortunate to not be sick often. I do see our lawn greening...that is encouraging. Blessings for a fun weekend. xoxo, Susie
DeleteHoping you nip this cold as soon as possible! Everything looks so beautiful down your way....grass, robin, sky! I love where you live!
ReplyDeleteI bet it takes a God while to mow that huge yard of y'all's!
Linda, We live between a lady on the left and her don's family on the right. We live in the original farm house. That family has had a medical emergency and so Ted has mowed their lawns too. I love seeing the birds so much. But can't sit out with all this rain....thankfully it's to be nice this weekend. :): Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI hope you don't get real sick with it. I am just now feeling better! It's awful!!! Take care of yourself my friend and get some extra rest. I think that's all that has helped me. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteDiane, I think I am going to be okay...I did well today...just a bit sluggish. I rarely get sick...cause I was my hand so much. I wipe tables down when we go out to eat too. LOL. Glad you are better, hope your hubby is doing better also. Blessings to you both, xoxo, Susie
DeleteHope you get over your cold quickly, Susie. I am fortunate that I hardly EVER get a cold or pick up anything from any of the grandkids.
ReplyDeleteYour breakfast treat sure sounds good. xo Diana
Diana, I usually do not get sick ...washing my hands all the time. I disinfect things like doorknobs all the time too. I think I am going to drink lots of water and take Tylenol. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI hope it does not take you two weeks to get over your cold. The lawn looks great. Nice and green. Breakfast sounds yummy.
ReplyDeleteMissy, I think if I treat whatever this is right away with lots of water and Tylenols I will kick it. I usually do not get sick, as I have had the flu shot. and wash my hands all the time. I did like the cinnamon bread. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI'm sorry about your cold and I hope you are over it soon. Those little cinnamon buns look really good. That sweet robin! I have seen several robins, but haven't been able to catch a pic of them. Your grass looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNonnie, Ted mowed here and the two neighbor's yards also...they had a medical emergency and could not mow when they wanted. I hope I shake this cold quickly. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh Susie - so sorry you are sick. Everyone I know is battling these awful colds and allergies. Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteJudy
Spring? I've heard of that. Right now we are experiencing sprinter.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lawn. All that space!
Hope you feel better soon.
Boston Boy, I love the name you have given our new weather condition. LOL. Thank you, I am really fighting this, as I sure don't want to miss out on any good weather where I can be outdoors. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSo sorry Susie ~ hate those old nasty colds. Hope you beat this one real fast.
ReplyDeleteLove your lawn...beautiful. And that little Robin...how sweet.
They just put artificial turf in our playground area. It sure looks nice too. Posted a picture.
Hi Wanda, Thank you, I am hoping whatever this is goes away quickly. I do not get to nap and lay around...so it's rough. I love the good old robins...they tweet ,chirp and hop all around here. Hope your weekend is a good one and that you and the Mr are doing well. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Deleteoh!! I do hope you get over your cold quickly!! YOur lawn looks so nice and green! Our yard looks like a bomb went off. There are branches everywhere from the wind storm, waiting for a nicer day to go out and clean up. we've had rain for a couple days, so the yard is too wet to even think about it right now! lol! feel better soon and have a nice weekend!xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you Vivian. I am hoping this cold/sinus/whatever does not hang on. I just don't like not being about to do what I want. LOL...I know that sounds so childish. LOL Oh I know what you are saying about twigs, branches and limbs....we had some heavy winds this year and luckily we were able to clean up soon afterwards. I have cleaned out beds as time has allowed. I am too old to do it all in one weekend any more. :) Blessings to you, enjoy your weekend, xoxo, Susie
DeleteBlahh, a cold when spring is just starting is a bit of a bummer. Hope it passes quickly. I can't believe how green your lawn is!! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteJenn, What really is annoying about having this sinus thing is...I try so hard all the time to stay well...washing our hands and using disinfectants all the time. Bummer. I will soon be well and hopefully sitting outside. LOL. It is getting greener in our area now...seeming so much like spring. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteDarn Suzie, hope you get over it quickly! A spring cold is no fun at all!! I'm laughing because I am the one who wants to mow the lawn early in our family. Hubby often thinks it's too soon. lol! We mow it really low the first time to get the dead off and clean up any debris. We did this a while ago and hubby fertilized. Not it's pretty and green. Yours looks beautiful! Love walking out and seeing the Robins.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Thank you Jann...I will get rid of this cold soon. I am drinking everything in the house and taking extra vitamin "C" . Ted likes to mow, he uses a zero turn mower and some times he leaves little burn out swirls( from turning too quickly)....which make me nuts. LOL. I spotted blue bird today and oh how I wish he could stay...the darn sparrows have taken over the houses. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteHi Susie, So very sorry to read that you are sick. From reading your comments, it seems you are doing everything possible to get well quick. God bless you. I am enjoying the birds too. Early in the a.m. their songs brighten my day. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you Mildred. I am so glad bloggers love birds. :):) They are such sweet creatures. Some times one little bird can brighten our day. :) Today was (Sat.) was sunny and beautiful...I did sit on the porch. Happy day. Blessings my friend, xoxo, love, Susie
DeleteHi Susie, sure hope your cold is much better. It's no fun being sick, especially in the spring! We've had lots of rain, too, and our grass needs mowing but we haven't gotten it done yet. I'm enjoying seeing the robins again and I'm watching the bluebirds going to and fro from the nesting boxes. Happy April to you, have a nice weekend! xo Cheryl
ReplyDeleteCheryl, I am loving the birds so much. I miss them thru the winter...although we feed birds all year, some are seasonal , like the robins. I just love them...cause when we lived in town we did not have many different birds...so robins were our song birds. Hope you get to mow. We have had to mow our lawn twice before when it's high, just to cut up the piles. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteStay in, keep warm and feel better real soon. Bless you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen. I honestly think it's more of a sinus thing as time goes by...as I have yet to cough, sneeze or stay all stuffed. I have clear moments. I have been suing my Vicks at night and I think it's helped plenty. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSusie, so sorry you caught a cold. I know what you mean about the passing of germs in the classroom with all the kids. Your lawn looks sooooooo nice, Susie. Please tell Ted he did an excellent job. I think all the rain is making it look so green. Cinnamon cake and a hot cup of coffee sounds wonderful. The breads you bought look Yummy. I hope you are feeling better, Susie.
ReplyDeletelove, ~Sheri
Sheri, I wasn't sure what was happening to me, as I have not had a cold for years. I take vitamins and krill oils. So I used my Vicks at night and take a Tylenol or two and I and doing well. Thank you. Hospital, drs. offices, church and school is where the germs are. It's lots of people enclosed The cinnamon bread is so good. I have had a small piece everyday. LOL. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie
