Gardening Shops....

This is the Salsbury garden center, along the way to my daughter Liz's. I always love to see the things out front. Love their clump river birch trees. The yellow of the flowers just pops. I think they are daffodils.
You can see to the right , the start of a picket fence. I love this fence. I was actually trying for a shot of the crabapple.:):)   Oh by the way, Emma is still celebrating her birthday . :):)
This is the little potting shed on display at Horton's in Tipton. I am in love with this shed.
Love at this adorable feature. Looks like part of an old bed and an old window for a overhang.
A wooden barrel hold some white pansies, in tiny baskets.
A closer look. I know that these basket have been many different colors thru the seasons. Using things numerous times is so clever.
Pots of colorful pansies In another window on the side of the shed.
At the front entrance of Horton's the half barrels hold shades of purple pansies.
A small wreath of grapevine with a bow tied to metal scroll trellises.  I have yet to buy any annuals for my porch containers. It's just been too cold . I do think it will start staying warm after this week. I am ready for some pretty colors on my porch.
Hope everyone is having warm weather.  Enjoy this day. XO

  1. I enjoyed all your colorful pictures. By the way that house in my video I listed as a place where Paul Revere stopped dated 1703 has been a funeral home for as long as I can remember.

    1. Boston Boy, I did get to see Paul Revere's house in Boston when we were there. I love it. When we went to the Old North Church...a young man from the college there recited the poem of Paul Revere's ride. Just being in the church and hearing the poem gave me chills. I love history. Hope you can get out for more photos. Blessings for a great Easter weekend, xoxo, Susie

    1. I really wish I had that little shed. I also saw a wee storage , that looked like an outhouse...just big enough for pots and containers, maybe some gardening tools.I think it was make of recycled lumber and skids. I know you are ready to start some things growing at your mountain home. :):) Can't wait to see. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  9. I love little independent garden shops. I think there are only the big box garden centers around us. For many years we were in the garden center business, decades ago, and we both miss it.

That potting shed is darling! Very clever use of a bed headboard.

  13. I always like going to the garden centers, Susie. They have so many interesting flowers, and you'll even see the hummingbirds once in awhile. The crabapple tree looks like its Pink leaves have already come and gone. The potting shed sounds like something you would like at your own home, and I bet Ted could build one.
