The crabapple has bloomed out .
I love the color of this blossom. I just wish all this could last longer. ;):)
The weeping cherry has still got it's flower. Oh this pink is wonderful.
We have a plum bush that is blooming also. You can see that bare spot by the tree. I have been trying to sow grass seed where it is needed.
I really like the burgundy leaves with the pink flower.
I finally found my bunny container I got last year. Those are fake tulips sitting inside a small green wreath. I put them atop a tea towel and added a wee bluebird.
I almost forgot....the lilacs are also blooming. I think my mother would be happy. I got two starts from her yard , after she passed away. This is her favorite time of year. She loved seeing all the flowers .
Wishing all of you a blessed Easter. Be happy. XO
You have so many blossoms right now! I love lilacs. Your bunny with the tulips in back is very quaint. Have a happy Easter! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteHi Jenn, I am enjoying the beauty of the flowering trees. You know their sweet flower doesn't last long. Blessings for a great Easter Sunday. xoxo, Susie
DeleteI hope you have a Happy Easter. Very nice pictures. You are ahead of us in the blooming department. A little over a week ago we had snow then a couple of days later it was 80 degrees. Prompting Arlene and I to enjoy a cabernet on her third floor porch as the sun went down. Such can be the weather in New England.
ReplyDeleteBoston Boy, You are really having crazy weather. It was 80 yesterday and today. I am not ready for 80's as that is summer temps to me. Glad you and Arlene enjoyed an evening outside. Blessings, happy Easter, xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh, wow, you have so much color there. Just beautiful. My Mother loved lilacs, too. Have a beautiful Easter.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, It makes me smile knowing your mom loved lilacs. The people who bought our mother's home had the lilacs torn out...can you imagine. Blessings for a wonderful Easter Sunday. xoxo, Susie

DeleteSusie, the crabapple tree blossoms are so pretty. And oh, those cherry blossoms are so pretty. I love their color. They are similar to the ones around here, and you see them all lined up on the streets. They are a lovely sight! Your bunny is charming with the pink tulips. And that's such a pretty picture of the lilac. I think your mother would have loved that bush, since her favorite color is Purple, right?
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you, my special blog sister.
love, ~Sheri

ReplyDeleteCheryl, Thank you. On my way home from my daughter's I saw a front yard with many red bud trees blooming...some times when they are leaved out you never know what kind of little trees are. But with their flower it's easier to see. Blessings to you and yours for a wonderful Easter Sunday. xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteHi Pam, Thank you for visiting my blog. I visit with JO, A Brit In Tenn. She showed her clematis in bloom this weekend...I am hoping the clematis, I have just like hers, will bloom once the tree blooms fall. Hope your weekend was blessed, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI love redbud but they won't grow in our cold climate. :-(((. What gorgeous blossoms, Susie! Perfect to celebrate Easter. I can't wait. Two daffodils are getting close to opening. :-). Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteJudy, I had a lovely dogwood here...it never made it a full year. I love them . I was just happy to have our trees all blooming together. Our red bud popped out more yesterday. My lilacs are started. Wishing some warmer weather soon. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
