Some Snow & Pretty Things.......

This is the little snow we had on Sunday afternoon. The one that melted over night. :)
Monday afternoon the skies were clearing, but not before I got this shot of a sun dog.
As the day went on the skies we so pretty. It was 43 with  little wind, so it was actually nice enough to be out side for a walk.
See what I mean, mostly clear skies.
The sunset seemed calming to me.  Hope your Monday was a good start to the week.
I went to Jean's Flowers in Tipton. Jean is so creative with her displays. The poinsettias just popped with their brilliant reds. I like the shutter with a wee roof over the top and a shelf at the bottom.
Don't you like the lights?  Lots of reds and twig items.
These old Santa boots are so cute.  Love the greenery  and candy canes stuck in them.
Dog statue with the Joy sign, love it.
Jean's plants are always healthy and shiny. I like the mixture of dark and light greens.
This tree made from wood topped with a metal star....love it. Jean had some things for sale,in the walk thru of the mini mall. I bought a magazine from 1965. I will show it later this week.
Wishing everyone a great day. Look for some joy and make some by smiling . XO

  1. Hi Susie,
You have the cutest little shops in your home town. That little sprinkling of snow you got we did not fair as well. We got over 7.5 inches. So pretty though for the first snow of the season.
    Have a great week.
    Hugs,
    Kris

    1. Hi Karen, I saw poinsettias in many different colors one year at our local Marsh grocery. I thought my mom would have loved the lilac color. But I love the red ones. It's so cold here this Thursday morning and the wind is fierce. We will be cold this coming weekend. Stay warm there. Bless you, xoxo, Susie

  15. Those poinsettias really stand out at the flower shop. I still have to get one for Christmas! I noticed the magazine you bought from 1965 in your last post, very cool. And the "JOY" sign is perfect for the Christmas season. Wishing you so much joy in the days leading up to Christmas, Susie.
