Moon Rise/ Sunset...

The full Snow Moon on Friday evening. Just starting to come up over the woods down the road.
The sun was setting at the same time. I wanted to see the eclipse, just saw the start. I wanted to see the comet go flying by, couldn't make myself get up later to go out to try to see it.  Our snow was almost totally melted by evening.

  The sunset got very yellow.
The moon was sitting on the  tree tops. The dusk to dawn light came on.
This sunset is beautiful.....wish we did not have to deal with  poles and  power lines.
The last color is fiery , time to go indoors.
This is this Sunday morning. The snow has melted. It rained in the night and the sun is out and it's to be a warm day.  Looking forward to being  in the yard. I saw a robin this morning on the porch rail. I have heard them chirping the past two days.
I hope to have some pictures to post...other than this area. LOL.  It's nice enough to be out and about. Trying to stay away from crowds. I am upset at the grown people , who will not cover when coughing. Good grief.  I wear a scarf when out and I will cover my face when someone is coughing.  Washing hands is number one when returning home...we have sanitizers in the cars too. I keep wipes in my pockets.  Some scary flu going around.  Have to stay healthy.
Wishing everyone a good day, stay safe. XO

    1. Kris, We could still get some bad snows,I know it can happen but if it does....I am going to be one sad cry baby. LOL It nice to see spring birds coming back. I saw a flock of geese, huge flock...flying in the biggest V I have ever see. Their honking was so load, as they seem to over the road out here, they became one big ball of birds for a while like they were arguing about who was to lead...then they formed the V again and off they went toward your area. :) Blessings for a nice week of spring like temps. Oh Boy. xoxo, Susie

  3. Susie, that is one of my pet peeves, when someone doesn't cover their mouth when coughing. Sometimes, they just cough right by you, and I don't think they realize that a cough can travel in the air. This sunset looks amazing. A lot of yellows and reds in it. That last one is really something. It looks like when the snow melted everything is back to normal.

    Have a sweet Sunday, Susie.

ps I don't really take good pictures. That just happened to be a good day haha. But thank you for your comments. I always love them. :)

    1. Sheri , Kids is school are being taught to cough into their arm pit area to keep germs from their hands . Or they lift the neck of their top over their mouth and nose, to cough or sneeze. So much better. It most often is an adult cough into the air.LOL Makes me nuts. I had abeautiful day...went to Liz's for supper with her, Emma and Matt. I think you are a pretty girl. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  4. Your sky shots are beautiful, Susie. You really do have some pretty sunsets there. I didn't see the 'sky show' either.

I hate being out around people that are coughing and hacking and sneezing. Especially people that do not bother to try to cover up the spray of germs.

It is cold and windy here today. The winds are about 40 MPH coming off the bay as best we can figure. Even the windows 'snap' a bit against the wind today. Not my favorite kind of day, that's for sure.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday afternoon. xo Diana

    1. Diana, I can not believe what the east coast is in for yet again. We had high winds today. I think that helps dry up the moisture so maybe it won't be foggy in the morning. Diana, I love seeing the heavenly extravaganzas...hate that I miss things . I have gotten out of my warm bed and slipped onto the porch to see night skies shows before. I swear if people saw me they would think, "There's that crazy lady again. " LOL Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie

    1. Shelia, We have truly been blessed with our winter so far. Today was very windy, that will help dry the ground up some. Stay safe there when going out. I have been loving your miniture crafts. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. LInda, It felt like a different season here on Saturday and part of today. It was mild today but very windy. But poor Boston, D.C. and NYC...they are in for a crazy blizzard. We are so lucky. Hope you enjoy your Valentine's day and have fun week. xoxo, Susie

  7. It didn't take long for the snow to go! Beautiful sunset shots. Too much cloud cover here to see a thing interesting in our night skies of late. I hear you on being socially responsible. And I wish that people would not cover coughs and sneezes with their hands...yuck.

    1. Vee, You can see how crazy our Indiana winter has been so far. A few days of real winter , then a few days of Spring like temps. This weekend was very nice. Saturday was very warm and pleasant. Today the sun did shine , but it was windy.I won't complain after seeing the evening weather report for the East coast, they are in for it again. Oh those coughing germ spreading adults. YIkes. Even the children in schools are being taught to cough into the arm pit are or lift the tops over their mouth and nose. That helps keep germs from their hands. Blessings , stay warm, xoxo, Susie

  9. Such beautiful photos!!
I read your comment to Diane and it squeezed my heart. Harrison is here spending the night and I want to freeze time. I remember your Emma when she was little....time flies by. You are such a good grandma! We miss things when the kids get older.....like the way they used to say certain words. The cute things they did and mannerisms....good thing we take videos and photos!!
Just think - someday you will miss her being the age she is now!

    1. Linda, You are right, there are days when I want to go back in time...then I think we are to live in the moment. I loved on Emma yesterday and told her she was our girl. I have always called he my long legged gazelle. She's taller than me now. I love the way you enjoy your grandchildren too. Grandkids mean so much to us. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  10. You always share the prettiest sky views from your street. I try to avoid crowds too. I do not want to be sick and some folks are so rude and inconsiderate!
