Birthday Boy....

It's  my grandson Korey's birthday.  This is me holding him for the very first time. He was 3 days old by then.  Being born the first week of March, you never know what weather you'll have.  It had snowed that week.
He's 3 years old here.  Always a great kid with a good disposition.
Now he's grown and I am asking where did all that time go. The older I get the faster it goes by , for me. Happy birthday Korey.
This is Tuesday's  weather forecast in the Indy Star... We have had some super high winds that chill you to the bone. It's Thursday noon and 37 degrees right now.  Spring will do this to us....teases us into thinking it's going to be warm . LOL.
This is my granddaughter Lynzie with her son, Max. He feel asleep and she looks pooped. I am asking if you will think kind thoughts , or maybe say a prayer for Lynzie...she is in the hospital with a fever She was dehydrated also. She is hooked up to monitors because her baby is due in two months. I will let you all know what I find out. Thank you so much.  XO

    1. Mildred, I remember holding him and he'd sounded more like a kitten mewing that a baby crying. I have never had as much time with Korey as I did my other grands, because he lived the farthest away. But our time together was always more special because of that. Now it's a few texts and cards here and there. I am proud of the wonderful man he has grown into. Also my Lynzie is precious to me and I thank you for the prayers. I am blessed with good children in my life, my own and my grandkids. Blessings, hope all is well there in Ga. xoxo, love, Susie

    1. Cindy, I wish I still had that thick hair, it's thinned a lot...one year I was an antibiotic for some bronchitis and my hair was falling out . Then as I have aged it has gotten thinner. Bummer. Thank you for the prayers for my g.daughter. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Yes time certainly has a way of zipping by especially as you age. Well you're not aging but I am. Seriously all is well at this end. I hope I will be back sooner than later.

  18. Prayers for Lynzie. What a sweet young man and it does seem like time flies to fast. My grandchildren are all grown as well except the youngest and she's 17. I just don't know where the time goes and it makes me feel so old. We still have our sweet memories . Hugs and Love, xo

    1. Susie, Our children and grands mean so much to us...as I know all of yours do to. Life could be so dull with out children. I am ever so thankful for our memories of when the children of my own were small and I held them in my arms. Praying for the drs. to be able to help you with all you are going thru....it's so disheartening when we give them our total trust. So hope someone will help.Blessings, xoxo, Susie
