New Shoes....

I bought some new shoes. Nothing outstanding but cute. Skechers has many different shoes. They are all along the lines of sneakers.
Kohl's sent me a 30 % off coupon. The shoes were marked down to 54 dollars and I got these  for $37.80...what a deal. They are navy (look black in photo). The little cushion spots are called goga pillars...to help cushion every step. I know that I will not be wearing them for long periods....now this is my own personal opinion....if the arch of the shoe flexes, and these do a bit, they are not the best support. But will be cute for a few hours. :):) Younger feet may not care.
I wanted to post about Skechers for Linda of LInda's life journal....so she could see that they make some girly looking shoes that are like sneakers on the foot. They have the memory foam insoles.
Kohl's had many of their styles and colors.
Some mary janes , flats and loafers.   Many sneakers in multi colors.  I love when I can shop with a 30 percent off coupon.
Next weekend is Horton's Spring Open House.
This is something to look forward to. I am ready for spring. I will go get some pictures for all of you. I may even pick up some plants.
Wishing everyone a great day. XO

    1. Thank you Jo. I have about 4 pair of the sneakers and now this pair of loafer like shoes. I can not longer wear heels or even flats for long periods. Arthritis in my ankles. I hope you have a nice rest of the week. Our weather as yours, is plain crazy at times. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. I do not get to wear the killer shoes that we women truly move. I have shoe envy. LOL. But once upon a time I had about 50-60 pairs of shoes. I just wish I could wear heels. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Sweet young thing, enjoy your wonderful feet. I never in my life thought my ankles would have arthritis and hurt....that is why I only wear comfy shoes any more. My problem is I love to just run once in awhile and I pay for it. Blessings, hope things are good on the mountain. xoxo, Susie

    1. Hi Andrew, I know shoes might seem so very boring to you, but for someone with arthritis in their ankles, comfort is a must. Oh when I was a kid every summer was spent running around barefoot. We only got a pair of shoes at school time. A poor childhood really sucked. :) Blessings, hope you are having some fun weather. xoxo, Susie

  7. I had a pair of 'girly' Sketchers that I wore out. I have not been able to find a pair that is that comfortable since then.

    1. Diana, You need to go check those shoes out again. They have so many more styles. I love the colors choices. Horton's is next weekend...on the 18th. I saw there about a semi load of potting soil in the parking lot. I think Horton's do all the flower pot throughout our town. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Noreen, I like some feet in flip-flops....but I can't stand anything between my toes...so I can not wear them. I said if I knew any great secrets, I would spill my guts , if they put flip-flops on me. LOL Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Oh Karen you truly understand that. LOL We women like to save and be in style but at my age it has to be a comfort too. Hope you did not have bad storms last night. It blew hard here and the weather radio went off at 4:50 am. Thankfully nothing bad. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Hi Terra, I really like the memory foam insole of the Skechers. For me and my arthritic ankles it means standing longer, without aching feet. I think it's nice they made the mary janes and flats also. We women want some comfort. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  15. Those are some cute shoes. I have never worn Sketchers. I usually get my shoes at Payless. Because of bad feet I need to get wide width and really good arch support. The ones you show are very pretty, though, and I would definitely wear them for dressing up.

    1. Kathy, If you need support for your feet...always try to bend the shoe in the arch...if it gives, it's not got any support. I think sneakers have ruined our feet. But I wear them cause other shoes feel so confining. Check out the Skechers at Kohl's. Blessings, hope you and Joe are doing well. xoxo, Susie

  16. I have to admit that I'm not much into shoe biz. If I needed shoes or sneakers I would go out and buy them. However once I discovered New Balance I became a fan. To me they were and are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. Just my two cents.

    1. Hey man shoe shopper. LOL.. Boston Boy, I have some New Balance shoes also. When our feet hurt we try them all. I use to be able to wear any kind of shoe. except flip flops. I could never stand that strap between my toes. I always says I would tell every secret I ever knew if someone made me wear those. LOL Hope you are looking forward to your trips here and there, now that you are fully retired. You will have some fun I am sure. Blessings to you dear friend, xoxo, Susie
