Origami.....

This is Savannah's origami projects. This piece of odd shaped paper...
Turns into this cube when you blow air into the end.
This is a dragon, Savannah made. I wish I had taken a couple more photos for a better view.
This Wreath looking shape , when twisted ....
turns into this star shape.  I am somewhat amazed at her making these. I love them. I think I am going to buy her some colorful papers to make things.
Here's a bit of Easter on my table. This fake flower , I bought at the grocery last year, it's still very pretty. The little white bunny was made by my grandson , Korey, when he was in the first grade. The bunny stayed nice and  white , but the construction paper tag is fading.....it say Nana on one side and Love Korey on the other. :):) I am blessed with my loving grandchildren.
Hope all of you are  seeing some signs of spring. XO

    1. Hi Pilar. I am so glad you having nice weather. This morning is looking clear...but heavy rains and storms are in our forecast for the next 3 days. I need a vacation . LOL I was impressed with my g.daughter's origami talent. Wish My siblings and I had known of this growing up...we could have made decorations for our Christmas trees. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  2. These origami projects that Savannah made are cool. So many different designs. Susie, my Aunt loves origami too, and I thought of her when I saw this. Savannah is quite talented at this. Love that dragon and star wreath. Your Easter table is lovely. I put out my Easter stuff today, and it always makes me smile when the house is decorated for the holidays. : )

So I am going to buy her some papers. I did not do too much decorating for Easter..but I did remember this little bunny. Blessings for a great day. love, xoxo, Susie

  3. I had one granddaughter that loved origami when she was younger. It is so much fun to see what those kids can come up with, isn't it?

Love your cute little bunny with the Nana tag...so precious.

Have a wonderful night, Susie. xo Diana

    1. Diana, Savannah has been a bit too shy most of her life, so I am glad she is getting into something, that she truly seems pleased in doing. She's in choir and loves that. The Animation Convention with her parents was a bit bazaar, but she loved it. Her parents said it was weird. LOL Diana, my g.son who made the bunny is 29 yrs. old. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie

    1. Missy, The first origami I ever saw in person was made by an exchange student from Japan...he was in One of my daughter's class. I don't think I would have the patience now. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Saimi, I had heard all the talk of grandchildren...but did not till I had some of my own.:):) Today I heard Michael Cane said, "Grandchildren fill a place in our hearts that we didn't know was empty" ,on the today show. I am blessed. Savannah seems to coming out of her shyness. Thank you for visiting. Bless you, xoxo, Susie

  6. Does Savannah learn the origami at school? Those are very good. I think I remember seeing a recent pic of Korey and he's quite the young man now. How sweet that you still have the little bear he made for his Nana. The flowers are pretty. Maybe I need to do something decorative. I will get out my little lamb and fill it with eggs and candy.
Susie, you always make the sweetest comments.

    1. Nonnie, I think she is learning from the computer. Yes, our Korey is 29 years old now, as he just had a birthday this month also. I was talking about your bog today to my husband and told him of your friend moving her foot, after that long time...It's like a sign to never give up. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  8. Savannah's origami is amazing. We recently watched a program on PBS about technical and scientific uses of origami that we'd never even heard of. Who knew?
