Shopping Day....

Entering Horton's at the side door. Look at this cute little potting shed they have made. This is the spot where when the weather's nice on Market events, they make up bouquets to sell.  You can design your own at times.  I met up with my daughter, Angie, at her house and we went to town. I did not get a picture of us. Too busy talking.
You will find lots of signs in the store.  All sizes. I like these small ones that can fit nicely on a shelf.
Here's a blinged out horse shoe for a farm girl.
I liked this sign myself. :):)
Oh boy that fudge was cut and ready to sell. Isn't this a beautiful fudge. I am so sorry, I missed some of the names.
 This one is snickers. Yummy.
This looks so good too.  Mr. Horton did pass out samples. He even had a special fudge for a little boy who could not have nuts. When cutting the fudge they do not cut one and then just cut the other....no cross contamination of nuts.
This is now the kid corner. Fashion for the wee ones and lots of toys and books.
Big girl fashions. Not all in the same area, so many can look and not feel crowded.
Statement t-shirts.  I think we all know this .
This is in a " fixer upper "reference.
After shopping, Angie took me to Subway shop for lunch. I ran into  beautiful blogger Cindy , The Bee Lady of Hill Top Farm. She was getting a later start , and we were finished. But it was nice to get a photo of us together. She is just so nice.
Well today is to be slow here....we shall see.  The sun wants to shine . Hope you are all having a good day. XO

  2. Oh my, that fudge looks amazing, Susie. Did you get any for yourself? Horton's sure has lots of goodies for Spring. That's nice that you got to see your blog friend. I've only met one blog friend in person. We lived in the same town, and she owned a vintage shop in town. I would love to meet more, including YOU, Susie.

    1. Cindy, I think you are close in age to my daughter. :):) That was the first I had seen my brother out since his surgery. He and Tim were on call for the cable company. I used to tease that I had to rock Steve to sleep every night and mom would get mad because I would use real rocks. LOL. He's the baby of the family. :) Hope you got some things at Horton's. Blessings sweet girl. xoxo, Susie

    2. I'm 58! I don't think she's that old, is she? When you introduced me to your brother I was trying to remember if he was the one that was in the hospital. I'm glad he is doing so much better. I didn't say anything because I didn't know if he was the one and if he knew you wrote about him! I Used to rock my sister to sleep! I didn't get anything this time. I'm cleaning stuff out. Trying to decide if I want to be in a market w everything I have!

    3. Cindy, I know what you mean....I should not be buying anything to bring in the house. LOL I have enough to share. As soon as my g.son buys a house, I am clearing out plenty. I did not say anything about Steve surgery...because I am not sure if he would be wanting to talk about it. :( He is a fun loving loving man..I almost said kid. :) My Angie is four years younger than you. Hope to see you soon...maybe at Patty Beck summer thing. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
