My Florist....

I love to visit the florist shop in town. We have two. One is in the side street mall and one is in an old house turned into a florist shop. The house one has two stories of goodies. But the one in town is ran by some wonderful people.   I liked the candle grouping here.  The tree is pretty but maybe a bit too"grinchy" for me.

Spotted this burlaped deer. he was cute and had some friends near by.
I loved this wreath and the mailbox. Jean always has big cake candles too.
These two pictures are the antique shop, next door to the florists.  I loved the carolers in the window. They were from 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall. The picture of the chair and fishing creel is what I have had my eye on at the shop. The chair is a  hickory and oak rocker. The little stool/table with the creel on it is made of willow.  It's so lodge looking that I have fallen in love with this display. I spoke with Ted about the chair. ...I may be getting it for Christmas. I have to be good, I only have two more weeks to shape up.  Wish me luck.
Today I would like to ask all of you to pray for a friend of mine and her family. It's Nana Diana of Nana Diana Takes A Break.  Her Hero(husband) has been diagnosed with cancer . Please pray for all of them...you know something like this effects one's entire family. Please if you are not the praying kind...then possibly send up some good thoughts for this couple and their family. Thank you so much.  You all give us strength.  XO

I go by those florist shops every time I come to your town and I never knew if they had other goodies inside or not. I will have to stop next time.
I am so sorry about Nana Diana. I go to her blog now and then and I know she just lost her brother a year or two ago. I will send up a prayer.

  12. A burlaped deer. Sounds like a euphemism for drunk.
"Look at that deer staggering around. I'll bet it's burlaped."
