Back Home Again...
The top photo is in the NBC studios, took a tour there on Saturday. The the evening cruise in the harbor was on Wednesday. Rained a little then. I'll be posting some NYC photos all this week. I have to work today, doing laundry. I will tell you, I checked every bed we were sleeping in for bed bugs(eweee) There were none in our rooms. I have such a fear of them that it's hard for me to travel. Even when we return home, I leave our bags in the garage and bring in a load of laundry to do at one time, till it's all done. Even the clean clothes that were not worn. Going thru mail, have to get those things done also. I am glad to be home, I truly enjoyed my trip and all our traveling friends. xo

I am so glad you had a good time. The bed bugs thing is not funny by any means. There have been major infestations all over the US lately- and you can't get rid of the darn things they say. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI am glad you had such a good time. I am petrified of bed bugs too.
ReplyDeleteOh! What fun to see the NBC Studios! Did you stand outside during the Today Show? I've never been brave enough to go to NYC!:)

Glad you had fun. I worry about the bugs as well. I also don't like sheets and blankets in hotels unless staying in the fancy places. Can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I check for the pests as well. I do not travel much anymore since we bought the yellow house. A friend was in Europe and encountered them a lot. Thanks so much for your sweet comment. hugs, olive
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go on a cruise. I know what you mean, travel is nice, but it takes alot of work and planning....and it's always nice to be back home, isn't it?

NYC is a great city....so much to see and do. My son lived in the city until just recently but still works there and I love to visit him. The top of the Empire State building is an amazing view isn't it?
