Happy Halloween....

Nothing scary to show. Just a bunch of pumpkins at the orchard.
Some cute pumpkin baskets at Horton's. I also love their sign made of old junk.
These are photos of last year at Horton's.  I love the way the white mums just pop.
Every size of pumpkin  . I love those small ones for little kids to handle.
Some jack-o-lantern  jingle bells.  I took this shot last year.
This was one of my displays last year also. This year I did the sweater pumpkins . Had to keep them on the porch and I need to put some weight in them. The wind blew them around.
This was my mantle last year . I did not even get these wooden pumpkins out this year. I do love my Hansel and Gretel  book though.
I love this old burlap garland. It could be used any holiday truly.  I like the greenery with the orange of the pumpkins. Old tubs, crates, even tucked into a drawer of an old dresser...too cute.  I just want to wish all of you and the little ones a safe and fun Halloween.  Enjoy. XO

    1. Thank you Diana, I hope your weekend is a fun one also. I usually don't do anything any more for Halloween...not even give out candies...no one comes to the country. I had a fun day with my sister Brenda. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  2. I always love your pictures Susie. The Horton's sign is so clever (we should make one for ourselves). I never decorate because it is sewing time for me. I see less people decorating this year but the ones who did have gone all-out. Love the fern greenery with the pumpkins too.

    1. Peggy, You are so right...we could all make a cute sign of our last names using junk like the Hortons did. Everyone would want one. LOL Blessings to you for a great weekend, xoxo, Susie

  3. Beautiful pictures, Susie, and I love your last year's mantel! Did your husband make the pretty painted pumpkins? I'd love to see that Hansel and Gretel book. Isn't it amazing how so many of the old children's books were pretty gruesome?

    Happy Halloween to you,

  5. Susie, there's nothing nicer to me than seeing orange pumpkins on a post in the Fall. I just love them. Those are cute jack-o-lantern jingle bells. And I really like the checkered pumpkin on your mantel and the Hansel and Gretel book. I don't know if I mentioned to you before, but I collect children's books, so your book caught my eye right away.

Happy Halloween, dear friend. I will just be staying home and passing out candy to the sweet kids.

    love, ~Sheri
