Some Touches Of Fall....

I got this boo sign at Goodwill. It is actually three little canvases with a letter on each one and some candy corn.  Two dollars, I thought was a good buy. You can see my little owl from last year's trip to Horton's.
This little blue Ford truck is hauling some fake flowers, on the porch.
This is one of the most unusual things I saw at the Horton's Autumn Market. Tin pumpkins. Now these would last a long time. I liked them along side the lanterns too.
More Horton's things. I think the berry baskets are so cute with the gourds. The grapevine wreath sets it off.
Can we ever have enough picnic baskets? I mean just think of the things you can display in them .
Some green burlap pumpkins I loved these...but had made my own sweater pumpkins.
This is the side entrance to the store. This display has the water fountain , always. I like that they use the old ladder to hold pumpkins and potted plants.
A bushel basket spilling out some gourds, sitting atop a hay bale.  Sweet. Driving by the greenhouse of Horton's now is so pretty. They have mums everywhere. The purple ones look adorable next to the orange pumpkins .
Wishing everyone a great day. XO

  1. Horton's looks like a neat place to visit. My problem is that I would want one of each. But knowing me, I will end up with one pumpkin that by the time November comes around, that pumpkin will end up being made into a pie. Yum, now that is a happy ending.

  3. Those tin pumpkins are so cool, Susie. I've never seen anything like them. The picnic basket is very charming. I used to have one, but I gave it to Jess awhile ago so she could have picnics with her boyfriend, now fiancé. I'm going to have to get another one for myself haha. Horton's is all decked out for Autumn, that's for sure.

Have a nice rest of the week, Susie.

  4. I love your fall decorations and Horton's looks so festive. I think I am going to have to pull out my old ladder and use it to display my decorations. What a great idea.

    1. Kathy, I like the old faded look of that ladder. I used to have a little step ladder that was nice and faded...then someone borrowed it and it was never seen again.LOL. You could use a nice old ladder all year too. Hope you and Joe are doing well. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  8. Oh my gosh Susie I went to Horton's and I never see all the stuff you see! I got some of those little berry baskets in a box of stuff at an auction awhile back and I had no idea what I was going to do with them. Next year I'm going to grow some little pumpkins and fun fall gourds and squash and such and put them in those little baskets. I'd love to sneak in some Sweet Annie but My Shug would shoot me. He is highly allergic.

    1. Cindy, Now just think of all the cute things you could use your berry basket for...Christmas ornaments or greenery with bows. You could put some pine cones in them now. Yes, I could smell the sweet Annie while in Horton's ...I love that smell. We used to buy it at the Earth fest and keep in the basement. Hope you are doing well Cindy. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
